Grown using all BioBizz products. ph to 6.4, currently running 1.7EC. Temps around 81F, RH 50%. Light is a lumatek ats 200W pro LED.
Just playing the waiting game now which is killing me haha.
Was just wondering if I could get a progress check, worried a little bit about some of the colas not joining up
Here’s some of the colas I am talking about, on the biscotti. I have heard its not a particularly high yielder so maybe its just the genetics but the gelatos are forming nicely so i dont think its a growing issue.
On another note, fair to say the terpenes are developing nicely.
Banana punch - intense ripe bananas now with added tropical bubblegum, candy aromas. Absolutely amazing
Biscotti - gone from a piney minty vibe to a lime zest with a cream background. Apparently it will start smelling like chocolate chip cookies lol.
Gelato - way more typical weed aromas with a bit of fruitiness, berries apparently.

I’m in week 5 flower and I installed a dehumidifier for my grow room and AC Infinity 6" inline fan for exhaust. I went to sleep and woke up with the dehu bucket full. Emptied it and went to work and it was full again when I came home. It’s pulling over a gallon out of the air every 8 hours at least haha came home to 67% RH in my grow room and a full bucket. Regretting not getting the bigger one now! Also really happy with the AC Infinity fan, I want a full setup with that line for next grow!

I ended up taking a couple leaves off that had trichomes to put in my bowl since I’m dry right now. The flavor is really tasty even though it was just part of a fan leaf but it did the job. We’re getting there!!
niiiceeee… looking great. yeah i’ve been tempted to sample them they just smell too damned good haha.
and yeah i wish i went with the next size up dehumidifier too, pull about 8l per 24h something like that. I also sometimes leave the tent door either fully open or just at the top if RH gets too high, but now my main issue is the extractor, its just an el cheapo but i am done buying shit for this grow, it can wait for the next one now.
cant get AC infinity here in spain so will just get a more powerful fan and attach it to the humidity controller.

this your first grow mate or you several deep? just asking as i see you went quite heavy on the defoliation. i’ve already tried to kill mine several times so going easy on it until the end and was thinking of doing all leaves maybe a week from finish, but basically just taking it day by day for now.

And this is my first grow ever so I’m learning as I go…I went really heavy of defoliation to get maximum bud site light exposure early so they can plump up and hopefully get nice and dense and heavy even below the top colas! Also hoping I didn’t over-prune as I’m obviously a novice but my OCD starts to take over when I’m dealing with my plants

Did you order those strains? I’m using OG seeds from my buddies grow but I’m considering ordering seeds from a bank for my next few runs
love that strain, not seen it for years though but the last time i had it it was knockout, so much that i still remember it today haha.
yeah i got the seeds from the growshop when i got the tent setup. but i had been reading about barney’s the day before so was convinced of their quality and i also like the fact they go for strains with personality, which is what i love.
every grow guide i have seen says it all starts with getting the best quality genetics you can so that was one box ticked.
but i didnt originally intend to grow 3 strains right out the gate, just two, but on my first run i killed them all, and then when i got back with more seeds for my second run one magically came back to life, quite literally from the dead. that legend is the biscotti mintz.
looking at your buds vs mine and graywave’s we all look similar so i dont think you defoliated too heavy. will be good to compare notes at harvest tho!
Your grow’s looking killer… kinda wish we could trade samples when we’re all done lol. It’s my first grow as well so that’s interesting. You going to jump into your next grow right after this one is finished?
Oh yea, I’m already itching to get my next run going mate but I’ll be using my tent for drying this run so it’ll be probably 5ish weeks until I start my next batch. Candy apple bred by my good friend will be my next try (sativa dominant), supposed to get tall so I’m glad I got lots of training experience this run😅

as for next grows i also have my two outdoor girls, which should be ready in october. the outdoor yield on the blue gelato is supposed to be up to 3kg (lmao) alone, which I know i won’t get near but even if i only pull 100g off each that would still keep me going more than 6 months…
but i’m also toying with the idea of growing a single plant indoor vegged for longer so i can try scrogging.
what you guys thinking of doing with your trim? i’m keen to press some old school hash (temple balls), been watching the frenchy cannoli vids (check him out if you haven’t).

Not sure I can take care of more than 4 plants at once. I work in a busy kitchen long hours so coming home to take care of them is really challenging some days
My Purple Hazes are almost 140 days from seed, was worried they’d outgrow the tent since they’re hazes and sativa dominant but they stopped the stretch around 10 inches from the light. I topped about every other feed in veg so that saved me lol
I have stuff in my Amazon wishlist to press my trim and kief into rosin. Then mix with liquidizer to make vape oil. That’s what I want to do at the moment
i used to work in a kitchen too, know all about the hours. and the heat.
not tried rosin yet, or any of the new extracts tbh, should be amazing with your strain though. very unique flavour.
depending on leftovers i might also have a go at making some rso, love that stuff. defo gonna be fun comparing notes
@SJ1 @Graywave you both just opened my eyes to something I hadn’t even thought about yet, what am I gunna be doing with my trim! Hadn’t even considered how to use it, might try making hash for the first time or just convert them straight into cooking oil
pistils turning brown on one of the blue gelatos and not the other, bit weird but whatevs…
also did some work in the tent earlier, the resin production really kicking in now, my hands are still sticky and super pungent 3 hours later. last week the smell would have dissipated after a few mins. gotta be a good sign haha
Week 7
not much to say other than the smell continues to increase… I’m finding the smell is carrying a lot further than it did last week too. Now I can smell it fifty yards away if I leave the tent open for a bit.
hey @Graywave @Juicer you guys seeing any yellow leaves yet? Have just discovered a couple. Reading on the net some say it’s normal and it’s just using up reserves and going into fall mode. Others though say nitrogen deficiency.
Still got at least a couple weeks to go so defo be good to know if you guys have anything, cheers!

I agree with the increase in smell, mine are now just powering through my semi-airtight grow tent. Also what your experiencing is 100% normal and actually a healthy sign for the plant ending up its lifecycle, the plant has completely changed its focus to bud production and nitrogen isn’t needed to maintain fan leaves anymore; thus the plant cannibalizes them. You’re killing it mate!
