Show off your Ladies

Hey @Mjcalifornia

I haven’t been there yet, but I wish you a lot of fun. It’s supposed to be a beautiful city.

It was harvest day for me.

Dante’s Inferno went to the stem.

All the large leaves that bothered me were removed.
Then hung up whole.

Smells wonderful.

Since there’s now space, I’ve repositioned the remaining lamp a bit..

So that the two big ones also get good light, from the side, for the last few days to weeks.

Happy Sunday everyone

The little ones were just bent a bit to the side with a clip today.

Except for the grape soda auto, that one will be left alone

And cereal milk, well, second day in the air

This is how they look :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::smiling_face:

And Paule shouldn’t be missing at the end of this week.
Yesterday the clones were tickling the net from below, today the highest shoots were almost 4-5 cm above it. So I moved the first shoots out one mesh further on the net. Today, for a 14-hour light day, the dimmer went up to 70%.
After yesterday’s watering and now getting closer to the 12-hour light day, the clones seem to have started their stretch.
Growth Day 29, today I only took 2 pictures.

Since they are now spreading out more on the Scrog, I haven’t defoliated much yet. The only thing I’ve done is remove a few small shoots at the very bottom. The ones that won’t make it up anyway.
The growth spurt from yesterday to today was already amazing.
Today, the focus was more on the flowering tent.
Here, after 4 days, there was water again. 4.5 liters with 20 ml molasses/Lab ferment and 1.5 liters of water with approx. 4 million nematodes to prevent a gnat infestation.
First, each pot received 0.5 l of water. In the second round, each pot received 0.5 l of nematode broth, which I then thoroughly flushed in with the remaining molasses water.
With 2 liters per pot, I remained well clear of over-watering.
Today I had to remove a lot of yellowed foliage from under the Scrog on the Cookie OG.
While I was at it, I also removed a few leaves from the other 2.
For better Air Flow
Day 87, today was Flowering Day 37.
I had to research the flowering times again, and actually, it’s only the Jamaican Pearl that’s listed with up to 11 weeks.
So in weeks it’s 9 - 11, and in days it’s 50 - 75!
The Jamaican Pearl from Sensi Seeds is a predominantly Sativa-dominant strain (85% Sativa, 15% Indica) with a comparatively short flowering time for its genetics.
So, my plan is to check trichomes regularly from Flowering Day 50 onwards. I’m assuming 9 weeks.
I think due to the Sativa, an earlier harvest brings the head-kick mind-numbing rush. :joy:
Longer standing time, couch-lock.
This is how she looks today, the Jamaican Pearli

The Cookies OG will be ready much earlier than I thought.
She is listed with 60 - 65 flowering days and is thus over half of her flowering time.
A jumble of Girl Scout Cookies and Hardcore OG.
That’s surely Hard!
Well friends, and with that, this good one can already start to lose some color on its leaves.

There’s still some green left to draw from to finish.
But I’m curious to see how her clones will look when they are at Flowering Day 37.

The most beautiful piece with slow growth, which then caught up during the stretch. :backhand_index_pointing_down:
The Strawberry Kush.

Flowering time 8 - 10 weeks, given in days as 56 - 67, so her trichome maturity will also be regularly checked from Day 50 onwards.
A hybrid of Strawberry Cough and OG!
Very nice, it seems some of the plants will ripen faster than I thought.

1772392748408

Well, Indica-heavy but a hybrid that looks more like Sativa to me.

Awesome long colas.
I briefly pushed the Doppelsonne up to 85% but preferred to go back to 80%.
Today I lowered the humidity to 50%, so there shouldn’t be any mold surprises on the final stretch.
Maybe the Strawberry is just a somewhat larger Indica?
Then one last snapshot of the three!

The yellow sticky traps have been in place since the day the ladies landed in their final pots. And that’s already been several weeks. Although there are a few gnats caught in the meantime.
But “the plague” ultimately stayed away until today. Thanks to the nematodes, which were introduced into the soil at regular intervals this time. So far, there have already been a good 25 million nematodes in this run, and predatory mites at the beginning.
Now all are saturated with water for the next three, four days.
The new larger exhaust fan performs excellently. Level 4 when triggered, otherwise Level 3 maintains the set values.
I think it will also perform great in the next run with the Auto Pot.

Pflanzenpaule wishes you a good evening and a good start to the week.

Just checked the tent and what a joy, my own creation, the Fat Bastard, has sprouted overnight. I’m really curious how it performs. The Pink Runtz, Sunset Sherbet, and Green Gelato are now between 3 and 4 cm high on day 4, and the Fat Gorilla is at 1.5 cm on day 1. Today the humidifier was refilled, and then everyone got another 50 ml of water per pot. Water temperature was 20 °C and the PH was 7.4 with 100 ppm. Inside the tent it’s currently 21.8 °C and the humidity is at 80%, at least as long as I keep the tent closed. Here’s a picture: back left the Pink Runtz, back right the Sunset Sherbet, front right the Green Gelato, and front left the Fat Gorilla.

Now I have to mix water again and let it degas for the next watering. Next time I’ll probably go for 300 ppm for the water, it will then be slowly increased.
Greetings to everyone.

Here’s a small update on the Fat Gorilla.
She (Day 2) has almost caught up with the others (Day 5). While the older ones are at 3.5 - 4.5 cm, she has already grown 3 cm tall, effectively doubling her size overnight.

She’s really taking off, I’m curious to see how she continues to develop. All have the same basics (soil, water, soil life…), I actually thought I’d have to slow down the others later with topping. But in the end, they will all be topped above the 3rd node in this run.

@herr_gruen
Great start. And a good morning to you and everyone else.
Meanwhile, I’ve had my first round with Gizmo.
A tasty Amnesia Pro now let me chill nicely at the cafe for a bit.
Awesome

I treated myself to an AC Infinity fanny pack.
It bothered me somehow over time. 4 - 6 grams in my pocket created a strong weed scent cloud around me.
For me, it’s a small quality feature. Good weed has to smell strongly of weed.
But in the car, during a check, you don’t want to get into trouble because of a nice smell.
And this little bag provides a bit more security because the scent stays inside.
Even my wife always knew in the car if I had something in my pocket.
I’m curious if she’ll sniff anything out today.
Today, almost all sensors for the clones showed around 40-43%, so I watered them in the morning. 1.8 l per pot. 1.5 l into the soil. And 300 ml emergency sip into the saucers, because they were also empty and dry.
Flowering day 2 today, it’s been going strong for a few days now.
Again, some tall shoots had to be placed under the net and moved one mesh further.
I clearly notice here that the transition to flowering goes better when the light is reduced by one hour daily instead of abruptly going from 18 to 12.
They also smell significantly stronger and generally look robust and healthy.
I also removed a few larger fan leaves in the middle area today so that the shoots underneath get more light instead of shade, allowing them to at least reach the net.
The Scrog is filling up faster than expected. And the stretch has only just begun.
Clone 1

Clone 2

If they continue to grow like the last 4 weeks.
In terms of their vital health.
Then these will be beautiful blooms.
So the Dope Soil was still perfectly fine despite being stored for a long time.
No gnats or other pests present either.
I’ve postponed watering the flowering ones until later, but definitely still today.
Have fun growing. Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Things are going well not just in the tent right now. As soon as the sun shines again, my wife is in such a good mood that I’ll now get my small tent after all. It will be a 40x40x120, or let’s call it my small lab for experimenting and propagating/crossing my strains. Now, first I need to make some space in the living room and tidy up my cupboard, that’s where it will go. That way, no one will ask what I’m doing there. Light (60 Watts), easily sufficient for 0.16 m2, I still have one in the cupboard, and an exhaust fan with filter is also still there. So, all I need in addition are a fan, hygrometer, and timers. And since the tent goes into the cupboard, it doesn’t matter if it’s completely light-proof, so a cheap model will also suffice.

Sodele and Paule comes this evening with an update from my flower security area. :joy:
I almost forgot to water them, so better late than never.
Clone 1, I also had to increase the water amount by another 500 ml because her thirst is enormous, and I don’t want the same thing to happen here as with her mother.
She has the Blumat Digital in the soil. But it’s at the back, and it’s a struggle to press the button there to see the soil moisture value, or rather, the capillary pressure. The good one had 1.7 l of water on Sunday, and today, three days later, it was at 444 mbar. So the soil is already a bit dry, but a little drought stress can work wonders.
It also looks like it’s ripening faster due to dry periods.
The ladies in the big tent are 90 days old today, and today was flowering day 40. All three were supplied with 2 liters of water each, with 500 ml of that going into the saucers, which was instantly sucked into the soil. The greedy ones!
Tomorrow I will check the sensors to see if they need a refill.
The Cookies OG is stated to have 60 to 65 flowering days, and I think it already looks very close to the end today. But in the end, a closer trichome inspection with microscopes will show that.

1772646066471

Unfortunately, many leaves turned yellow early on. In the end, the fruit (yield) counts, and with a slight enlargement and the light briefly dimmed, the buds already look delicious.

The Strawberry Kush also looks well-developed.
Here the indication is 56 to 67 flowering days.
So, it’s quite possible that she and the Cookies OG could be ready for harvest by the end of March.

Seen from the front, not quite at the same height, you can clearly see what long, dense flower clusters she has.

Tomorrow, when I check the sensor readings, I will remove some foliage from her.

I think quite a few more trichomes will still develop here.
So, for now, I’m trying to keep the clones on the net without clips, so that in the end, when two of the three come out of the big tent, I can then put the clones in there to let them finish ripening in the big tent. We’ll see.
The Jamaican / Pearli!
You can tell she needs to stay longer. All her pistils are still light. But her flower structure has increased.
A Sativa-dominant strain with a relatively short flowering duration for that, but still given as 9 to 11 weeks. Now it’s another 2 days, and then the 7th flowering week will begin.
So, she will stay for some more time.

Today, I removed a few leaves from her.

Here you can see by the pistils that she needs a few more days than the other two.
Meanwhile, it no longer goes above 26 degrees, and the RH is consistently just under 50%.
The latter should ensure there are no mold or rot problems.
So, in the middle of the 7th flowering week, I will set the exhaust fan performance a bit higher and the trigger down to 25 degrees.
Because with the new exhaust fan and double the speed, that’s easily doable.
The RH in the room is still well below 50%, but that will soon change as summer approaches. But by then, they will be finished.
I could have fertilized the living Soil again, because this time I don’t have 3% of the soil volume in it yet, and a good amount will still come together for that.
The clones of the Cookies OG will certainly be a different story because their Living Soil, despite its age/storage, still has significantly more power in it.
At the end of the 7th flowering week, I will inspect the trichs of the C. OG and the Strawberry more closely and magnified.
Plant Paul wishes you a good evening

I wish you all a good afternoon!
Pah, that was an amazing sight again when I looked at the clones.
And the thirst, the stretch.
They’re taking off. Fabulous - Beautiful!
Watered yesterday. And because of the expanded clay drainage at the bottom of the pot, it always invites me to leave an emergency sip in the saucer.
Clone 1 had 2 L in the soil and 300 ml in the saucer yesterday.
Today the sensor was down to 42%. And the saucer dry. Brutal.

So today there was 1.75 L of water again, and 650 ml of it went into the saucer.
I’m saving myself the hassle of measuring the height because it became too cumbersome due to constantly moving the mesh further.

You can already see roughly what kind of branching, diagonally, there is under the Scrog.
Also awesome, already the scent and this leaf mass, which almost overwhelms me because it’s multiplied by two.
And that they are not growing currently, but rather proliferating, is evident from the last few days.
And today is only Flower Day 3!
There’s not much left to do on the net because the area is almost filled, already now.
A gentle defoliation was also necessary today, because it simply became shady under the net and leaves were on top of each other, wet from condensation.
It was important for me to bring more light to the underlying shoots so that they can also come up.
I moved some tall ones, already well above the net, one mesh further out again. So the shoot tips have already arrived front and back, and the area is almost full, in 3 days.
The stretch will continue for another 3 weeks, and the Lollipopping under the net will be awesome.

This is Clone 1 today.
Clone 2 is also taking off just as much, and here the Dope Soil shows its potential when its moisture is at its optimum.

The same dense growth.
Only here, I can still lay something out along the net at the back.

And that will fill up quickly.

Amazing how healthy and vital.
I suspect that a good deal more will grow in height.
I raised the lamp a bit today to 45 cm above the net. Individual shoots are at 40 cm distance and I increased the dimmer to 80% today. This corresponds to about 256 Watts. And there’s more to come. :joy:
What is now clearly recognizable to me.
Tells me that their mother plant received too little water after all.
So I checked out the Blumat Digital today and that was a good thing.
Yesterday she also got water, after she had been dry.
Already today the Blumat soil moisture sensor was just barely in range, but on its way to being dry.
To maintain the range, there was also a follow-up watering in the large flowering tent. The other two also got some.
I am happy with the clones! Although it was a long rooting time.
Around 30 days alone, but with little light. What they are achieving after 29 growth days and now 3 flowering days is pure joy.
The VPD is around 1.38
Humidity, because still in stretch, I keep at 57 - 59%.
The temperature stays at 25 - 26 degrees in the light. In the dark, it drops to around 20 degrees.
In the large tent, the VPD is already significantly higher, at 1.73, which is because I’m running the RH here at around 45 - 48% at 25.4 degrees.
Here, the last 3 - 4 weeks are running.
In the room itself, the humidity today is just 37%, and that makes it easy.
I wish you all a good evening and friends, stock up on the essentials.
Life is getting more expensive! If you keep an eye on the price jumps in fuel and energy, then you know that all other prices will also rise.
Turbulent times indeed.
Greetings from Pflanzenpaule

Again a small grow update from my side :man_farmer:

Both plants have now been freshly topped, perhaps a little early for the Melt Banana, but I didn’t feel like starting again next week.

Now I’ll let them regenerate for a while, and in about 4 weeks they’ll go into the :tent:. I’ll then

Today was watering day for the little ones. Each received 100 ml of water, PH 7.4 and with 280 ppm. VPD is at 0.43 kPa, the small humidifier is running quite well with the timer, so the humidity stays at 80% at a temperature around 22.5 °C. Here are a few pictures

Well then.

The little ones are like this

The Critical Kush on the left has a very bushy growth, while the Special Kush 1 doesn’t seem to be so keen on it :joy: anyway, it’s going to be beautiful.

Today, the little ones were repotted; their roots were already sticking out a few cm from the bottom openings. Last night, I had already drilled some ventilation holes in the pots.

The soil was mixed with 2 grams of Mycorrhiza, 2 grams of Rhizobacter, and 0.5 grams of Trichoderma. The plants were potted a bit deeper to give them some stability. They were watered with 20 °C warm water with a pH of 7.4. Additionally, today they received 0.5 ml of Grow fertilizer to reach 350 ppm. Here’s a picture during repotting

After moving into their new pots, the light was also adjusted to a 40 cm distance.

Oh, what a beautiful sunny day today.
So my wife and I scrubbed the balcony a bit and repotted some strawberry plants.
Some went from the rectangular box into a 40L tub with plenty of fresh soil.
Let’s see if they all come back.
As I saw, the last clone pictures were again 4 days ago and there was still some space on the Scrog.
The pictures I have now are also 2 days old, from Saturday, and the Scrog is filling up abundantly.
They are very thirsty and vigorous in the Stretch.
Saturday 3.5L and yesterday 1.1L, only Clone 1’s soil moisture sensor is back at 41%.
Due to the 4 cm layer of expanded clay in the pot bottom, there’s always a reserve sip into the saucers, and they were also empty today.
So today, each pot only received 650ml into the saucers so it doesn’t run too dry until tomorrow.
Last night, in the last hour of light, I reduced the light to 50% on the dimmer and sprayed Bio Bizz Leaf-Coat, a plant strengthener against insects and leaf fungi.
I brought a few very tall shoots back to the Scrog today and moved them one mesh further.
I freshly set the lamp to a 38 cm distance, as some things can no longer be kept low, and today, at the end of the first flowering week, flowering day 7, the time has come to let the shoots rise further.
I have now turned the dimmer fully up to 100% from 85% in the morning at the start.
With that, it goes into the second flowering week.
If you go back 7-8 days here, you can see what the clones have become in the first Stretch week. Brutal how much green mass has exploded there.
Clone 1 Saturday, Flowering Day 5

Clone 2 is only noticeable for being a little less thirsty but just as good and vigorous in growth.

And meanwhile, the front shoots :backhand_index_pointing_down:

have also been moved one mesh further forward on the net again.
It can and should still grow a bit taller now, I just hope that the stretching will slow down a bit now.
I’m curious to see how that will look in a few more days.

Yesterday, it was also time for watering for those in advanced flowering, and here I don’t know what to make of the Jamaican.
Its leaves are turning yellower. Bottom, middle, and top.
From overwatering or too little water???
It doesn’t look like that, because there are no wilted leaves. No eagle claws either.
The leaves are standing, and nothing is drooping.
Now I thought of testing the soil pH with the Bluelab Soil PH Pen.
11 cm diagonally in towards the root base.
At least close.
There the soil PH was 6.2!
That should be fine, and watered in the morning.
The temperature inside was 22 degrees.
Now I have raised the exhaust fan trigger from 25 degrees to 28 degrees.
Could be, because at night it went down to 18.4 degrees in the tent. 22 degrees in the soil during the day with light. Probably not more than 25 degrees at the top.
The soil organisms then aren’t as active, I suppose.
Now it remains to be seen if it shows improvement.
Since the daytime temperature is now 2-3 degrees higher, I have increased the humidity again to up to 51%. Otherwise, the VPD would go too high.
A comparison of the Jamaican to the first run.
The first one looked much browner at the pistils at this time.
Here with her, everything is still light. No pistil has colored yet.
Now it is stated with 9 to 11 weeks and she is in the middle of the 7th flowering week.

The color play already looks strange. I haven’t had it like this before because the leaves usually stand in good shape.
The flowers themselves have already increased in size.

And here

you can see again, none of her pistils are turning brown yet.
Curious to see how it continues with her.
The Cookies OG also started early to change its green to yellow, and there isn’t much green left.
At 45 flowering days today, she has reached 15 to 20 days before the end.
An attempt with Bio Bizz Microbe and feed for these and fertilizer from the Bio Bizz range in delicate addition led to burned leaf tips, which is why I did not continue the addition.
But already damn sticky!

Because almost all pistils here are already colored. Yesterday I examined them with the microscope.

That’s already a bit milky, but she hasn’t reached the peak of her ripeness yet. I haven’t discovered any amber colors yet, and she still has a few days.
The Strawberry, also Flowering Day 45 today.
Then finishes her 7th flowering week on Friday, and Saturday begins the 8th.
This hybrid is stated with 7 to 10 flowering weeks.
So here, the week always starts with an enlarged trichome check.
While it was very sluggish in growth, it has done great during flowering and has transformed into the most beautiful one.
What a sight!

She, in turn, showed only a few yellowing leaves for her nearing end.
Very mysterious this run.
But no mold risk this time.
By increasing temperature and, associated with it, raising humidity to not exceed a VPD of 2…
It doesn’t go above 51% day or night. I was already down to 43-44%, because in the room itself it’s around 35%.
But summer is approaching, and then the humidity will rise brutally again.

I’m still waiting for the Hydrone 5 to be released to better regulate humidity in summer via the controller in conjunction with the device.

Then many greetings, sent to you by Pflanzenpaule

And here’s Paule again, after I did some research because I don’t like the yellowing of the leaves.
Tomorrow I’ll move the lamps 10 cm higher.
Or dim them down to 75%.
Since the pH in the soil is 6.2, there can’t be a nutrient lockout.
But due to the high light intensity, 2 San Light Evo 4 at 80%, magnesium is lacking.
Sometimes too much light is just too much, especially in Living Soil.
So for the next watering, I’ll add 0.5 g/liter of Epsom salt to make it a bit easier for her.
The buds themselves look healthy.
In three weeks I will see what has become of it.
Well then, good night I wish. Paule

Good morning Growlings.
In the morning, a small adjustment was made to the ladies in their final phase of flowering.
I’m assuming 70 to 75% of the flowering phase is already behind them.
The buds are now plumping up further, and to prevent any surface for bud rot, I’ve set the temperature to 26 degrees.
The humidity has been lowered to 43 to 45%.
The Strawberry seems to love the high light intensity and continues to photosynthesize richly.
Therefore, the light above her remains at 80%.
I’ve dimmed the light above the Jamaican to 75% because it’s a bit too much light for her.
As soon as it’s watering time, Magnesium Sulphate will be added to the soil, and then I’ll observe the bud swelling time.
Let’s wait and see what scent, resin, and bud size still develop.
Paule wishes you all a nice day.

And what a beautiful day it is today. Earlier, I had an appointment at the labor court, facing my ex-boss and his lawyer; I was alone. On Friday, a letter arrived from his law firm stating that he, not I, would receive money, and I already thought I’d need an appeal. But then, I had to suppress my laughter, with a thick folder in front of me (I had done my homework) and his lawyer, well, an incomplete statement of claim, because he had withheld the most important page from her and otherwise knew nothing. The judge asked questions, and from the two of them, there was only a shrug. I immediately rummaged through my folder and laid the facts on the table. The longer it went on, the smaller those two became. End of the story, he has to pay. Afterwards, his lawyer immediately steered him into a side hallway. She felt really silly because he had withheld important details from her.

But now, something different about a hobby dear to all of us. Yesterday, my lab arrived, a 40x40x120 cm tent. Once I have my back payment, I can finally finish the living room and then set up the lab. Oh, how wonderful that is.

I wish everyone a nice day.
