Hey I’m growing a zkittlez auto in coco/soil mix in a 3 gallon fabric pot. Feeding her ff bloom big, tiger bloom, calmag, kangaroots, and I just introduced a co2 bag to the environment. She’s been in preflower for a couple weeks now. But I topped her very early and lst’d the shit out of her branches l. So I have an extremely squat bushy plant with plenty of tops. This is my first grow, so my question is should I be lsting branches apart at this stage or should I just let her stretch naturally and defoliate? Here are a couple of the latest pics I have. Curious to see what a skittle auto does.
Wow. Looking good. I would do some defoliation of lower leaves and bud sites (keep only colas) and some LST to keep things separated and aloe air flow.
By colas you mean…?
A cola is the flowering site on a female cannabis plant where flowers grow together tightly .
Buds/flowers that are not A Cola are generally small and not as good.
So that maybe your plant can look like this:

I just don’t want to trim the wrong part. So I can pretty much clear out all the fan leaves? Here’s what the underside of the plant looks like. And here’s what I cleared out. Should I keep trimming the smaller branches that shoot off the main cola?
Do not remove all the Fan leaves, only lower leaves/damaged leaves. The fan leaves are required for photosynthesis.
I suggest to go on youtube and search trimming, lollypoping and toping marijuana plants. best thing to do is learn, try things and learn form mistakes.
