Hi everyone.
I’m a lil worryed about my 3 hulkberry autos. During the veg stage everything was going ok, but in the flowering some problems started to show up. I’m a first time grower and obviously I have not yet learned to understand what my plants need, based on the symptoms they show me. So I would really like to know if someone can help me better understand what is happening to my little ones and what I can do to solve the problem.
Btw i’m watering my plants whit water at 6.5ph. I feed them 2/3 time a week whit RQS fertilizer for flowering and give the 20h light cycle.
The things that mainly worry me are two. First, Two out of three plants have very pliant, not very strong branches and the buds are very small. The second is that many leaves are starting to turn brown and other leaves are drying out completely. In the hope of solving these problems, I positioned the light slightly higher, inserted some fresh fertilized soil inside the pots and watered everything with a bit of fertilizer rich in nitrogen (I know that plants do not require much during the flowering phase but some symptoms seemed to me attributable to a lack of it).
Mhhhh i will try to lower the dosage. But i don’t know if that’s really the problem. I usually don’t go heavy whit it (because i know that can create some root problems if missused)…but i will try to lower it a bit more anyway. Btw thanks so much for the help
Welcome to the community @Thayaht ,I had similar issues to with a run a while ago, are you give p k , in flower this is what it needs and maybe just cut back on your dose and see from there, good luck
Hi. Can you post a pic of the whole setup, including your fan? Is that an oscillating fan or static?
I suspect wind burn from the way your leaves are pointing downwards. They should at least be horizontal if not “praying” up to the light. And you mention pliant stems as well. That indicates to me the plant is thirsty…for moisture and not nutrients. And since the top of the canopy is drying out faster than it can absorb moisture, it drinks more from its’ roots, nutrients and all, regardless of whether it needs those nutrients or not. Which would explain why you are seeing nute burn issues.
The discoloration at the bottom of the plant looks normal for a berry strain, to me anyway. Cheers.
Hi. it sounds very plausible that this could be the problem. I link some photos of the setup before i changed it after your comment. Now i positioned the fans not directen on the plants so that they can increase the humidity. Btw those are static fans.
