How everybody should behave when interacting in the server:
- Welcome new arrivals.
- Introduce yourself, tell us about you, for how long have you been growing, your favorite strains and your environments.
- Share your cannabis growing knowledge with less savvy growers. We avoid anecdotal evidence and reject fake science, if you don’t have a good source or real evidence, please abstain from posting.
- Be kind. Don’t be snarky. As a topic gets more divisive, comments should get more thoughtful and substantive, not less.
- When disagreeing, please reply to the argument instead of calling names. That is idiotic; 1 + 1 is 2, not 3" can be shortened to "1 + 1 is 2, not 3.
- Please, respond to the strongest plausible interpretation of what someone says, not a weaker one that’s easier to criticize. Assume good faith.
- Don’t introduce controversial topics unless you have something genuinely new to say.
- Please, don’t post shallow dismissals, especially of other people’s work. A good critical comment teaches us something.
If somebody is harassing you, report them to the Grow with Jane team.
