Ac Infinity vs Vivosun automatication devices and apps

Hey i have seen closely the two devices and cant get myself to decide wich one is better! Both have some great stuff, i think ac infinity would be better controling climate but vivosuns changing light spectrum with each stage is pretty awesome too!

Does anyone has any experience with any one of this?

I would go with ac infinity but i dont have any experience with the new vivosun products. I have 2 ac infinity fans and they have been great. Their app is really good too.

I use mostly ac infinity gear. Reliable quality stuff. I haven’t tried they’re lights yet, but tried several others with and without the adjustable spectrum. I really liked the kind led X420 with all the adjustments… but wore out in a year of constant use… my quantum boards seem to last forever and light levels can be adjusted with a screwdriver. I’m using a photontek 3000 watt that looks a lot like the new infinity light… adjustable light level only.

Like em all but based on the instructions and common sense your going to be full spectrum except for infra red all the time… I guess infra red is harmful to the plant and they tell you not to use it till the last week or two… What I do like is a detachable driver. If you can put the hot driver outside the tent you can hit much broader temp/humidity ranges.

Thanks to both of you! im looking at this controller! i really like what it does with the lights and its like the ac infinity controller but with custom light spectrum going from blues during seedling to far red during flowering.

i cant find anyone that has use it tho. i think its pretty new but ac infinity is very reliable as i can see!

thanks!! i have a vivosun 2x4! do you think thats a problem to get the ac infinity controller?

Haven’t seen anything better for personal use than the ac infinity controllers. Should work with whatever…

Thanks Riley! looks like its working well for you looking at your plants!!

Hi Ateko…They might as well be my wallpaper… can’t wait to get the one that ties the lights in. I’m a big govee fan too for their wifi humidifiers that run based on a detachable hygrometer you can put anywhere and calibrate to anything…

damn man you have all the gadgets looks pretty nice

the app looks sweet, you can put triggers on temp and RH to get your inline fan on and off and your humi? all is automated or is it just on a timer?

All automated or manual with or without schedules. The hygrometer goes on s shelf and I calibrate it to the infinity probe meter that’s super accurate and the hygrometer runs the humidifier within 2% rh even if the temp varies a bit… awesome when you get everything dialed in…

Need to make sure it’s the humidifier that runs on a separate hygrometer though that’s the key…

The hygrometers in most humidifiers are on the bottom where it’s most humid and they turn off before they hit the humidities I need… by hooking the humidifier to an external calibratable locatable hygrometer you can make the humidity do anything you want and keep it there… set the schedules and fill daily.

That is nice.

Not something I personally would want on my mobile device but if I could run it from a PC I would be sold. I’m a retire IT guy, and still think smart phones are bigger mistake than digital watches.

I have a couple of the AC Infinity controllers that came with inline fans . . . and I have considered their newer Controller 69.

I do like their fans and filters but the controllers are not serious grow room controllers yet. First telltale is no photocell to detect day/night or option for CO2 . . . and how do you control lights, humidity up/down, temperature up/down, air circulation, exhaust and intake ventilation devices when you can only control 4? And I don’t want to get too invested in a proprietary system . . . and they have never have had the AC oulet for the controller available. It’s been sold out for a year, and they’ll have humidifiers for the controller by March . . . they say. No word on a dehumidifier, heater or AC to my knowledge. So I can buy an environmental controller that doesn’t control an available humidifier or dehumidifier, heater or air conditioning device . . . but does a great job running intake and exhaust fans? That sounds like my controller 67.

My opinion, slow the rollout, double the device ports . . . and have the devices available for purchase WITH the controller. I like AC Infinity products I have, but they have to be available, not constantly “Sold Out” or “In Development” with an ETA months down the road.

I can have a complete autopilot, Titan Controls or TrolMaster system (that will run my existing equipment) here tomorrow if I needed to.

Look at the hydromesh that thing is sick

They both work but they cant make a big difference to temp.or humidity unless you are controlling the air that comes in. If you want 25c in the tent but the lung room is 28c then youll never get there, its impossible. You cannot control the conditions in a tent without controlling the conditions of the lung room.

A decent air conditioner and dehumidifier is a much better investment if you live somewhere with less then perfect conditions.

In most home grows the home is the lung room. Most homes are around 23C or 73F and 60% or less humidity. It’s range a good fan can work with.

I’m using a 400W HID for this grow and it’s staying right at 75F/60%, the home is 73F 40%. At night, it barely cycles but lights on it’s pretty busy most of the time. That’s using a 6" fan in a close 4x6 room. It’s just closet with door shut.

Not sure but I thinking that light generates more heat than even a 800W LED by quite bit so for many people I think a fan is adequate.

I’m and infinity guy
