Alaskan Auto Purple - ready?

Some might recognize me as the guy that always ask “Is it ready to harvest?”. I’m asking that again. I did buy a loop! But recall, I have trouble with colors at any magnification. These pictures are from my phone. Note that Seedsman indicates 8 weeks is a good average for complete time for Alaskan Auto Purple. Planted mid-April so definitely more than 8 weeks! In particular I’m having trouble telling if these trichomes are clear or milky white. I should say that in the past I’ve just waited until all are amber (or dark orange to my eyes). The problem with this is I suspect I’m waiting longer than I’d like and ending up with more of a “couch lock” effect.

The last picture shows the entire plant. I’ve had trouble with Seedsman (customer service) but I do like their Alaskan Auto Purple (I have trouble deciding when to harvest on all plants!). Notice it spreads itself out on its own. I did no training. And most importantly, I like the high!

So, what do you think? Time to harvest?
Thanks!

Hello my friend!

Looking at the pictures, they look milky to me. Remember that when the plant is drying, the maturation process continues. I prefer cutting the plants with around 20% of amber trichomes.

Happy Growing!
