Any input is valuable, what can I do better, what not to do, any thoughts on the grow

I have tried to go organic in the past but my plants seemed less vigorous, less hungry, and moved at a generally slower pace. Then i changed nutes to a regular synthetic grow pack and right away noticed the difference. In the end, plants dont care where the nutrient comes from. Organic nutrients are not immediately bioavailable, so they need to be broken down further by bacteria, other microbes and processes in the soil before the plant can use them. Whereas synthetic nutes are mostly bioavailable and your plant can use the nutrients right away

I’m not hating on organic grows just wanted to clarify this part. Your grow looks good btw :+1:

I second that. I tried organic and loved the thought of it but overall don’t think I had enough time available to commit to it so went back to synthetic. If I ever retire, I’ll definitely give organic another shot. I’d imagine it would work well in an outdoor, in ground garden that’s had a few years of work so that the soil is dialed in…I’ve tried Fox farm nutes and strive nutes. Strive seems to work well and is very simple and easy to use in my experience

Thank you both!

I’m using BioBizz nutrients which involves a ton of nutrient mixing. You require a lot of time in order to keep things going.

I will try these recommendations and use it in my grow. I’m looking to simply as much as possible the process.

I’m using Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 and loving it. It’s so easy to do. Amend your medium before planting and top dress every 2-3 weeks. I use both throughout the grow. During veg, I go full-strength with the 4-4-4 and half with the 2-8-4. For flower, I do the opposite, I use full-strength 2-8-4 and half with the 4-4-4. I start to taper off the 4-4-4 halfway through flower.

I use build a soil ammendments. Organic in my experience is way more simple than synthetic. PH isn’t an issue nor is nutrient lockout and salt build up. I also am on my 15th grow in the same soil. I use worm teas and rootwise and ferments to add microbes making my top dress faster to break down. The addition of worms does wonders too. I’m indoors in a 5x5 tent. It fills wall to wall with 5 plants when I flower. My plants show positive signs like good color and praying leaves all day. I started my journey using a few synthetic lines and they do not compare. I topdress once in veg and 2x in flower. I don’t know any synthetic that I could do less work with. Majority of the time it’s water only. My water pH is 9 and I’ve never had to adjust the pH. My bud also is more flavorful than when I ran salt based nutes. Lat thing I’ll add is build a soil offers water soluble nutes in the form of build a veg and build a bloom. I’ve done grows with just those two and had great results. Best part is it’s all bio available within a day or so. I would encourage you to stay organic. The bigger the pot the better. I use 10 and 15 gallon pots, but more would be better. My next step is a 4x4 bed in a 5x5 tent. If you ever need organic advice shoot me a message.

Thank you; definitely going for your method. It sounds way better than the current method I follow. It simply takes too much of my time. Until now, fingers crossed; everything is going smoothly.

Thanks for the input!

I’ll probably give Gaia green a go along with build a soil now that I’m indoors. I was over complicating things outdoors and also trying KNF and got overwhelmed. Thankfully, I wanna burn through all my synthetic stuff first so I have time to study up and simplify

Its Not really true with the mixing of nutrients . My Plat was growing only with Fish Mix in veg and Bio bloom in flowering stage both from Biobizz. and the Resultat stand for itself. I Had earth from the Garden with Mixed in charcoal and Sometimes some teas from clover nettle etc.
