That is called finger hash, almost used that for my handle and it gets everywhere if you are not careful.
Has too much chlorophyll for my taste but I end up with fair amount when I harvest even with a rough trim. It has a lot of plant materiel mixed in, I toss it with the gloves. Itās not worth it to me and when I harvest Iām doing what needs to be done it would likely be contaminated in some way. As it is I go through few sets gloves every harvest.

Yeah man when they do it on a commercial scale they take that finger hash and process it into what is known as charas, itās a really black, sticky hashish thatās been done that way for hundreds of years and smoked all across Asia and the Middle East.
Thankfully though we have improved our methods/hygiene in recent years haha. If you take kief or bubble hash and press it with heat, it will turn into a black, resinous hashish that with care will turn into a Temple Ball, which is far superior to charas. Thatās what I did and then laid it down for a year to age, which gave it a richness and complexity that is as good as anything I have ever bought. Highly recommend.
Yep, I just have snobbish taste at this point and Iām not going to miss it. This stuff smokes like a very clean vape. Itās made from old Strawberry Cough and itās lightly citrus not chemical like at all.
Itās not the same buzz as flower either, itās not just stronger, to make it complete I take a hit or two of flower. It adds something not sure exactly what.
This is so true. When I first had a dab I understood for the first time people who say they smoke weed for the creative, energetic effects.
It feels somehow cleaner, more uplifting, and less narcotic than when I smoke a joint.

Just leave your green extract in the sun in a glass jar for a few hours. Chlorophyll will dissappear and the green color becomes brown. Enjoy

You can also extract with everclear if you donāt want to use isopropyl. Worked great for me! I decarboxylated first so you can eat or smoke it. Burns clean and has a good terpene profile.
Grain alcohol will pick up more chlorophyll, which Iām not a fan of but otherwise it works and would be better if you plan to use for edibles. Just donāt forget you still have to decarb for that.
For me iso wins because itās cheap and easy to get, in VA the strongest grain without permit is 151 and that too much water content really.
Iām all in on this, but I still donāt have the confidence to commit most of grow to it. Since I started this Iāve had a supply of hash extract. Just way way better and cleaner buzz and hit. My bubble hash yields and results should help me with that.
Process Updates
Freezing everything overnight pretty much eliminated the oily stuff in my batches. It not tar itās more wax like, still fairly dark though.
I will be making my first live bubble hash run next week or so. I opted to hold on the washer and just got the bags and drill paint mixer. I donāt think I have the volume to justify the washer just yet.
Also used that money for Homegrown Cannabis, High THC mix pack, 5 Alive, Hellfire OG and Northern Lights #10, end of getting 6 ābonusā auto seeds Gorilla Glue #4 and DeeLite. Not sure if I will gift those or give a shot outside in the spring.

I got a bubble washer and its really just an expensive mini washer machine it helps if got a bunch to wash and want to eliminate a manual wash but drill and mixer should do fine just roll a few joints to smoke thats all lol

Republicans stalled enacting recreational sale and some other things related to cannabis it will likely trigger a legal challenge after the first of the year.
However we do have āmedicalā dispensaries. Getting card requires spending $50-150 and itās refunded if for some reason you didnāt qualify, itās pretty much a sure thing from my understanding. I would shop around for the best price. I think the card is just $50 and whatever else is process services.
You can view VA prices and what they offer online. The delivery option is cool but the prices are sky high, top shelf is $50 for 3.5 grams.

Ok thank you. In my state we have stores on pretty much every block we can buy weed at. But, im visiting VA in February or march and was wondering where i was gonna get my weed from. But it sounds like im gonna have to cold turkey for a month that ill be there.
Basically same here in MA theres a few shops in every town to buy bud. The city shops have deals and specials for like $70-$100 for an oz and like $400 oz shit and the smaller towns normally $50 or higher for 3.5g and some shops only sell in incriments of 3.5g ultimately still cheaper to grow ya own up here and get to keep whatever amount your plants yield which i like
