🏅 April's Growlog of the Month

Hello Growmies :waving_hand:

April’s Growlog of the Month is in… and this one was a really solid entry across the board :seedling:

:trophy: Berry (Strawberry Kush), by @Pflanzenpaul

This growlog stood out for its consistency and depth from start to finish. It follows the plant all the way through the full cycle, including drying and curing, which already puts it a step ahead in terms of completeness.

What really made the difference here is the level of detail and decision-making throughout the grow. You can see not just what was done, but why; from nutrient management and watering habits to how challenges were handled along the way.

There’s also a strong use of the app: clear logs, regular updates, and a well-documented progression that makes the whole process easy to follow and learn from.

On top of that, the grow includes useful experimentation and organic practices (like living soil and compost teas), adding even more learning value for the community.

It’s not about being a “perfect” grow, it’s about being a valuable one, and this growlog delivers exactly that :green_heart:

 Big thanks to everyone who participated and took the time to share their work. There were some great entries this month, and it wasn’t an easy choice.

If you haven’t checked it yet, take a look here :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Thanks for the recognition.

When I just opened the Growlog again, I couldn’t get in. Had to log in again on the new phone, and then the Growlog opened.

Since I’m no tech genius, it takes me a while until the old devices are cleared out and everything works well on the new one.

So I hope!

Happy Sunday everyone, I need to continue dealing with the newer technology here.

Meanwhile, the tomatoes on the balcony have already dried up. :innocent:

But I can’t smoke those anyway.

Good luck to everyone with their grows

It is not just you. When i click the link it says the log is unavailable until I log into the growlog app and then I can use the link to access the log. This is something that has been happening for a while now and is becoming increasingly annoying.

@Crackadoo

Are you using the new Beta version?

I kicked it out yesterday.

Deleted the app and reinstalled it.

To delete all data and cache first.

The Beta version and then Update 3.1 is too unstable.

For me, it only caused problems on Android, and that extended from the S20 to the newer S25 model.

There seem to be programming-related issues with the app on Android systems.

With Beta versions, test data and other login protocols are often stored on the phone, which can “get stuck” over time – especially when moving to a new phone like the S25. Just like my phone change, because I couldn’t post photos with the S20 anymore.

By ending the Beta program and reinstalling, I achieved two things:

  1. Legacy issues removed: All faulty cache files of the test version were deleted.

  2. Stable Version: I now have the official, stable version from the Play Store, which is better optimized for the S25’s software.

Perhaps just uninstalling the app and reinstalling it would have been enough to make the Beta more stable. But I believe this was the better way for now.

The Beta version is still missing some updates that would make it more stable.

Oh, I know how annoying it gets when it doesn’t work.

I’ve been dealing with it all week that nothing worked anymore.

Couldn’t get photos in.

Having to log in to the app every time.

Now it works for now!

Have a nice day and best regards

I am part of the beta testing. This is the only real issue I have had though overall so its no huge problem for me its just annoying when im high and have to go back and forth. I sometimes get myself mixed up. I haven’t had any of the other issues you mentioned with photos and things fortunately.

I was also a beta tester, and that’s when the problems started.

But that’s what testers are for!

Although I initially stopped the test to be able to share without problems, upload photos, etc.

The problems were manifold.

Constantly reloading the page to be able to reply or change a topic, the image placement problem, being completely thrown out of the app after closing and then having to log in again every time.

The whole thing is still quite weak and should eventually work with proper updates.

That cost me a lot of nerves, and it should and must be fun, not constantly encountering problems.

You’re the only one who has told me now that you also have or had some problems.

From everyone else, I only heard that it was running normally, which then screws with my brain again.

But I know the problems and will inform Gaz about them again, because it still needs some updates so that, for example, Android systems also run flawlessly again.

Have a good day and continued success, Cheers!

Isn’t Beta Test 3.0.9 moot with Version 3.1 anyway?

I have the current version from the App Store and everything works well.

I’ve also discovered the diagrams for water and I think this is a practical new feature.

Regards,

And if I’m wrong, that’s okay. :ok_hand:

I don’t really have a grasp of all that stuff. That’s why it took me several days and a lot of things were left undone to be able to make it work here without frustration because it was getting stuck and probably in many ways.

I think it also depends on the phone system whether it runs smoothly or not. As I said, I can share my experience and I use an Android system, and there were problems with S20 to S25.

Which are now fixed by throwing out the beta version. Everything else in terms of apps ran smoothly. The removal of the version and the now resolved problem shows that some things are still not running smoothly.

So I think that with update 3.1, the beta version was not obsolete.

For me, it was that I accepted the beta version, and on the release day, the update to 3.1 automatically came to me, and that’s when the problems started.

In the end, an update to a version is just about making it more stable with new features.

Do you perhaps have an older Samsung Galaxy Android system or an iPhone, which would then be excluded from these problems?

Now it’s running again for me, but as the original version. Cheers.

But there are probably quite a few who still have smaller problems.
