i believe its starting vegetation i give it 18 hours of light just a cool wight one i had lying around like a led flod light was just improvising ,and 6 hours of dark and a egg cup off water every morning water drains down to a plate i did start in a smaller pot and moved into a slighty larger pot andd just topped around with some soil the help the stem… it was originally on the window sill but almost died because of the cold so i have moved it given it light and she gets water. But not looking a healthy green should increase the water move the light aways its around 2 1/2 inches away and dosent burn my hand hellpp please this is rather interesting lil hobby i might take up hehee
The seedling is long and skinny because it did not have enough light/watts/PAR. Seedlings drink water mostly from the leaves, so the relative humidity (RH) should be high 60%-70%.
When you water, do not water at the base base of the stem, water in a circle about 2 inches away/about an inch past where the tip of the leaves reach. This will ensure to keep the root ball dry so it can breath, and also make the roots grow to seek out water.
Thankyou i have made a few changes so just a little update iv moved it to more of a inclosed area more light and reflective sides. watering around the plant now instead of direct center

The relative Humidity needs to be in 60%-70% range for healthy seedling. Spraying/misting the leaves with water also helps.
Thank you for your time this housing is just temp for a better inviroment ill be orderind a small tent next time round just need to see if i can get it to a phase where i can sex it then will know if i will keep or bin . i must say its just the satisfaction im getting from having ago with this one i know everthing im using has just bin me improvising and just gain a lil more knowledg on the way thank you again. Im looking at buying led just had to get it out of trouble for the time being the last light was a led flood light of the balcony produced to much heat lets say in a week.im in the making of a perminat habitat i only realy trying to get it to a stage i can identify male /female, this hole thing may be pountless but ill have everything to do it again and be fully prepared, in your opinion woul i be better with a 30 w led white light and a bigger enclosure and better vetilation and regulate the heat ?
