Very true smokey. Gunna have to wrap my head round this one. I would like it to be the final pot , maybe save this for a photo and buy the 25l,
I didnt want to transplant but i could buy a smaller air pot then transplant into the. BIG POTT !! … DUN DUNN DURR R . ps if i dont use it the wife will kill me for keep wasting money

You doing only indoor grows? If not could always use it next year for outdoors or do like you said and throw a photo in it. Either way you dont actually have to fill the pot all the way. Could fill like 3/4 and throw an auto in there leaving plenty of space to top dress later and depending on soil may even get away without having to use much nutes. Even if you fill all the way and auto doesnt use all the soil you can always reammend your soil and use on future grows

I prefer to let mine dry out before the chop. Im not 100% sure on what the pros and cons of it are but its the way i go and everything ive read about final days says to let dry out

I believe she is ready studying the tricombes im starting to see some amber ones now. the pistles they are dyed back around 50% all over … i did think i would see more dying leavs at this point ?
But i wanna try grab her a the peak of the tricombes instead of later when the ambering appears… i think im gunna do it😱 do i have to giv 24 hrs dark begore the chop
Darkness is your choice i know it can help with the trichs if im not mistaken so totally your choice. I also do the dark phase and again not sure pros and cons its just how ive been taught and read about

Darkness before harvest is a bit of bro science to be honest, there are arguments to support it but just as many against. Personally i don’t see how deprivation of its light which it needs to perform even the most basic tasks helps it increase production. If anything leaving the light on for 24-48 hours would cause the same level of stress while still providing light for the plant to actually do something with. I have always just shocked mine with low temperatures instead and it works great.

As for watering before harvest you need to consider how long you want to take with drying and the environment you will be doing it in. I aim for 14 days drying so if im going to be drying during warmer months i water closer to harvest and the extra moisture helps to slow things down and get me a slower dry. Basically you can do it however you need to suit your conditions and or preferences or play it on the safer side and just let it dry out the before chop totally up to the grower

Never thought of it like that i was / have stopped watering 1 day over due now…
I feel like she has probably got some more growing to do. But seems ripe in my opinion looking at the tricombes i noticed some starting to amber hear and there… and the pistles are dying back maybe 50%-60% all over… i have planned 2 weeks of dryin in the same tent it grew. I was gunna giv her the chop in 4 days than i have 2 weeks plus a bit longer if i need. than i have 2 autos to go in the tent and there a week old now so i should be able to move them in and the dry stuff out in 3 weeks say then my autos will be week 4 there currently under my previously bought light in the cuboard atm
