Question for anyone who uses biobizz on here, do you adjust your PH? I’ve seen mixed opinions, some saying that the organic matter in the soil will buffer the PH and others saying it still needs to be adjusted. I’ve been adjusting mine with biobizz ph up and down as when I’ve tested water that I’ve put biogrow into, the PH is usually coming in at around 4.9. Thing being in my very first grow many moons ago I used biobizz nutes, grew in a mix of plain old compost from a garden centre and coco coir about a 50/50 mix, fed with the nutes at about 3/4 strength all the way through, NEVER ONCE PH’d my water because I was completely clueless if I’m honest and my plants never had one problem all the way through, good yield, nice smoke am I wasting money on PH up and down here?
Hi mate, how are you? Well, I’ll try to explain that to you, if the plants only have water, sun and good soil, they turn out well, but this is grown in direct mother earth. Oki, they turned out well for you in a pot without ph, but the importance of ph in cannabis is that in the end, always regulating the ph, the plant removes all its active ingredients at the end of its life cycle and they would be (THC, CBD, CBN…etc ), without ph the plant will not place as much and will smell like grass instead of having terpenes that smell fruity, smell of pine, smell of cookies, vanilla and many more.
Well, what I recommend is that you put the fertilizers in the water first and then regulate the ph, because organic products lower the ph on their own and in order to avoid this problem, first add the nutrient to the water and in a second moment measure the ph .
good smoke and happy party.
