We are getting ready to germinate our blue cheese seeds soon for an indoor grow.
We just harvested our first 2 test plants, as we are very new to growing.
We did not use any nutrients in our first grow and we believe that is why we did not get a very big yield, and we did not know what our seeds were; just some randoms we had from our stash.
So we we are looking for suggestions on soil
We used a mixture of Happy Frog and Fox Farm for our first round (is this a good choice?).
Does anyone have a good recommendation on nutrients?
Order some good seeds, there are a million good breeders! Fox farms ocean forest is a good soil to start with. I usually put the seedlings in happy frog to start and then into the ocean forest. Nutrients vary tremendously. There are good organic and synthetic ones out there depending on what you like. I’ve used fox farms, strive, advanced nutrients as far as synthetic and build a soil and Gaia green for organic
I’ve personally ordered from royal queen seeds and speed run seeds but have grown quite a few different ones. Once again just depends what you’re looking for
We just got our seeds in Blueberry Cheese by Barney’s Farm, from Netherlands.
We looked through a lot of reviews and sites… I hope this ones doesn’t disappoint.
Also good to know we are on the right direction with the soils.
Fox farm is good soil. I’ve got some pretty dry bags so you might have to work with it before you use it. It can get pretty hydrophobic if it dries out.
