We tried one out about 10 years ago and i said i would never use one again, i would rather be in trim jail for a week than see my flowers get smashed around like that. It came out looking nice but lost a heap of its frost compared to hand trim. Maybe they have improved over the years but i couldn’t say really

We don’t care about bag appeal and yes we use a bowl trimmer every time. It does it’s job, not great but not bad either. In the end with a bowl, you will have plenty of trim to sift so all in all if you’re not after bag appeal, it works.

I’m guessing about 50lbs of bud to trim. I plan on trimming by hand for a few pounds but after that I don’t think I will care how good it looks

Holy cow 50 pounds. You almost need an industrial trimmer, that going to be one tired arm lol.

This year I have to thank the ganga god’s. Out of the 50 seeds I started all but one was a male. I also gave away about 15 plants.
This makes up for last year cause I couldn’t even sprout a seed.

The only problem is they are loud. And a problem cleaning. I’m not sure if it looks any different.
I would pass on it. I have one and used it once and that was it. Good idea but poor execution.

I am glad you asked, I have been eyeballing one on Amazon, but my budget for canna is about 15 years ahead of itself (national deficit has nothing on me) right now and has overindulgence bruising.

I love my trim bowl! I won’t be caught dead in trim jail. I don’t care about the lost trichomes as it truly isn’t bad. And what is “lost” is collected in the bottom and used for rso or edibles. I know I’m late to the comment section but I don’t feel the people replying actually gave it a shot. And as for cleaning it takes me 15 minutes to clean with a spray bottle of iso and a bunch of paper towels. Honestly it’s imo the best purchase I’ve made for post harvest.
