Hey everyone, I just germinated one zkittlez auto. Once the stem was about 3/4 inches I potted her in her starter pot. I used a pot for pot kit for the soil etc… superb soil, “beneficial bacteria “, diatomaceous earth, rooting booster, aeration top soil mix, and coco bricks. What are the nutrients I should be adding once vegetative begins and how often? Also, what are ur recommended light cycles and average temps? I’ll include pics of my set up. Any recommendations and advice appreciated! Thanks guys!
Hello @Giraffage welcome to the community!! I’m very interested to see how Zkittles turns out for ya!! Is it from Twenty20medecino seeds or something? I’ve got a 6 pack of Whiskey Zulus growing in a full bloom from them.
How long have u had them on 20/4? And my wife got me this whole set up for my bday lol. She got the seeds at ilgm.com. That co2 bag sounds like a good idea, I might do the same. Also, I’m recycling the air in my green house. Should I be intaking fresh air? Ur plants look beautiful! I have 4 more zkittlez seeds, this is my pilot, I’ll take what I learn from this grow and apply it the the next grow. Which will be more than just the left over zkittlez!
I always have fresh air flowing into my tents. It helps with the flow of hot air also. Suck in cooler fresh air through the bottom vents and having a filter sucking the hot out.
I have had them on 20/4 since day 37 ish. Here’s my grow log which is the same for all 6 plants. I tried to do pretty good notes for myself but one big difference is I am a hydro grower. So things will be a little different for you.
Aye, I like ur dope lil clip on fan. Did u get it online? And I think I got everything down for the most part. The soil I bought (superb soil) has all the nutrients the plant should need from start to finish (supposedly). But at this early stage, what should I be looking for in terms of nutrient deficiency? She’s only 2 cm out of the ground atm. I’ve just got the veg lamp on low for now. But could u explain ur vent system? I have extraction from the bottom of my tent recycling out of the top directly back on the plant like a fan. I thought it would increase co2, is this not a good idea?
Hey ik this is an old thread but I just thought I’d update it to hear the feed back… she’s on day 25. She’s just gone into veg and I gave her an early topping since her veg cycle will be short because she’s an auto. Did I top her in the right place? She hasn’t had tons of vertical growth, but new nodes and fan leaves are springing up like crazy. I’ve started treating her with FoxFarms grow big, but in very small doses since her soil was amended. Lmk what y’all think!
Yea that’s what I was hearing a lot of too. I reached out to someone here who ik grows autos only, just out doors. He tops all his plants early like that and all of his crops have looked great. I think I may have stressed her out a little too much by over trimming, but we’ll see how these buds fatten up in the next 2 or 3 weeks before I cut her down.
