Bugs? Eggs? Oh no?

Hey guys, once again I call on your expertise.

Take a look at this close up, wtf are these little red dots? They don’t move and do not squish, they almost roll around in my fingers like a tiny grain of sand or rock.

Thanks as always!

Looks like you got Thripes!! Not sure how to deal with those yet I’m a new grower and I hope I never experience them I did hear that they fall off during the drying process.

I’m far off from out from drying im pretty sure, new grower myself. I hit em with a dose of growsafe hopefully that helps.

It stinks because otherwise it seems the buds are coming along nicely. Trying to take a good pic and walked away looking at it then noticed them.

do you have a microscope or loupe you can look at them through?

looks like red spider mites to me. do they move or stay in the same spot? is there any webbing anywhere?

I can’t find my loupe for the life of me. They don’t move though. I can rub them off and roll them with my fingers and they don’t smash just stay a tiny little grain. I’m thinking its an egg of some sort.

Here’s a better picture from this morning.

yeah could be if no movement or obvious body parts etc… any other symptoms? spider mites will leave what look like tiny spider webs. or maybe some signs something has been feeding on your plants?

they are defo foreign, and didn’t get there by themselves. but they don’t fit the usual symptoms of cannabis pests so if you don’t see anything but these guys then maybe something came along, laid eggs and flew off (they are outdoors right?). In which case I would go through the plant with a pair of tweezers and maybe some alcohol wipes and manually remove them. defo don’t leave them on the plant, it could ruin them if they hatch

best of luck pal

Yeah, I plan on spending some time removing them today. Man what an awesome adventure this all has been. I’m already planning for next year with the knowledge I’ve learned. Unless I can convince my wife an indoor tent is a good investment ha!

Thanks for shedding some wisdom.

Seems like I didn’t get them all. Just had a surprise rain storm, right after I watered… go figure. Brought them to the porch and saw more of them, some that were now bigger, tan in color and I can smoosh them now. I also found three of these guys freeloading…

Looks like I have to keep a keen eye out now.

I was gonna say moths - we had one lay eggs right on our window, looked the same. I’m going with moth larvae

Wow, it never stops does it?

Had to bring the girls into the garage for the past two days due to crazy rain and winds. Weather looks ok for some real sun tomorrow! BUT, I earlier found some PWM… and realized how many flies I have in my garage at the same time. Fly traps up and hit em with some more agromagen growsafe which has really helped so far. From reading about the strain I have a few weeks to go still which is so agonizing, but Fingers crossed because they are looking more tasty each day!
