Hello everyone! I’m a new grower. Can someone explain to me why the buds are getting new buds? The plant should actually be ripe next week. Would it be a problem to harvest them anyway or did I miscalculate the harvest time?

It looks like maybe another week or two. The time frames giving by breeders is under optimal conditions and usually shorter . I add at least a week to those times if not more.
The best way to tell is by looking at the trichomes on the bud itself , wait until at least 10% of them are amber colored. Use a jewelers loupe that’s at least 30x and you should be fine. Just remember to look at the bud itself and not the leaves, they’ll change first.

What you are seeing is a natural cannabis plant mechanism. Not all plants do this. It is a the plants last attempts at producing pistils to try to become pollinated. So don’t worry about it. Like others have said you need to look at the trichomes and wait for around 80% to be milky, cloudy colored. The pistols do not tell when to harvest.
