Hello all,
I’m planning on making my own THC vape next month once my plant is done curing. Is there any way to add my kief to that and it not clog up a cart? Should I switch to a mod instead of a cart based vape pen? Any insight would be appreciated.

I wouldn’t add it to a vape unless it’s capable of burning flower. Otherwise, it won’t burn the kief and could damage your pen. Not a vape expert by a long shot but have had pens that only burned flower, others that would burn either, and ones for liquid only. Happy growing

You would have to extract rosin from your kief by using a rosin press then mix it with vape liquid (PG juice). Hard part about making homemade is the dosage

Ah ok. I don’t have a press and I doubt it’s worth it for me at that point, honestly. I appreciate the reply.

You might think it’s funny…but I’ve heard people using flat irons for hair (a new one) to extract with. I think there is even some YouTube videos on it.
I’ve thought about trying it myself , just have to be careful to not over heat.

Some presses are pretty cheap on Amazon a 4 ton is a couple hundred and kinda worth it if you plan on making your own eliquid. I’m in the process of learning this as well.

Nah stay away from them, they are absolute garbage. I bought one, a $300 4T china special, which lasted for precisely three uses. My mrs hair irons lasted longer and I was fucking standing on them lmao.
I went to use it on some of my last run, the blueberry muffin which had crazy terps, and the fucking thing just died on me. Completely gone. Well pissed off lol.
So I am now saving to buy a decent one, and I’m not even a heavy user. I’ve seen others saying the same thing, 10T seems to be the size to go for for most home users.
