So I have some clones that are in young veg still in their small homes. There is a like red and also rusting color red that is ok the leaf margins and I was wondering wig anybody knew what it could be and how to fix it. I will give some pictures in a short while as I’m away from the plant right now. But she has been yellowing, and reddening. New veg is growing but seemingly decently slow. I added some calmag by Bushdoctor yesterday because when it comes to margining symptoms from the plant I usually thing calmag (mainly magnesium). And I feel she liked that a bit. But the red has not stopped. Any ideas? All Questions and answers are greatly appreciated. Thankyou
Maybe you can tell me what it is? I’m little bit confused right now. First I thought it’s from thrips, because I saw them. And I started to fight against them with lacewings. But I’m not so sure anymore. Day 11 in flower. Can you read the signs?
Stage looks like this.
Calcium deficiency would be my go to, the ph should be lowered by .2 from early to late flower to. So 6.2 for veg, 6.0 at beginning of flowering, 5.8 towards the end. But I would say add some calmag. And if it has iron that’ll only be benificisl. But go lighter than heavier. And u can do a 2x a week feeding of calmag at a less ppm until the cal deficiency is gone. But I’d just add calmag to your feed and if you already use it then I’d increase it a little bit even just 1ml.
Ok. Thank you very much for your answer @Yvngstonie . I will order a digital ph tester for soil and calmag asap. And I will keep my eyes on it. No. I don’t use it yet at all. Maybe this is really the problem.
I hat nutrients do you use on that note?
I think the same now. Soft water. Ca/Mg - Calcium/Magnesium deficiency.
And I really will order calmag now from this recommandation. Sorry it’s in german.
I checked the roots and I believe it was rootbound so I transplanted to new soil into a 1 gallon pot from the solo cups and small 4in pots. A little more room to allow them to actually really start veg, then move to a 3 gallon to do LST and stuff in.
But Thankyou for your help I hope it rebounds but I will update in a couple days.
My first plant a photoperiod , took like a whole 4 + months to get to the end of flower due to the ammount of times it had to bounce back they do and will bounce back but bear in mind it will take longer, pruning, nute deficiency every thing bugs the works and i never see anything until a few weeks later it seemed asif it nees at least a week to recover before resuming growth. That was my 1st big learning curve. So on my next grow prep is key as i have gone with auto flowers. Happy growing
Just let it grow haha… minimal pruning ect if it suffers any problems and u ammend then by any means wait a week or 2 before u do anything els and then u may be able to determine if it resolved the problem and resumes normal growth im no expert. That purley my opion. Others may be able to help in ways i cannot happy growing ![]()
