Cloning is easy, although it’s true that cloning can get complicated depending on the variety!!
With a propagator, rooting hormone, and a handful of Jiffy plugs to stick them in. A small LED bar and, if possible, a heat mat to speed up rooting. Always make sure to wipe off the condensation from the inside of the propagator lid for the first 8 to 10 days after sticking them in, and uncover the cuttings 4 or 5 times a day, say for 2 minutes each time. Trim the tips of the larger leaves so that the cutting concentrates all its energy on one specific point: rooting!! Best regards, I would be happy to help with any questions you may have…

It’s not rocket science.
You don’t really need anything like that if you want to keep it simple.
You usually have Light mix lying around, cups with holes at the bottom, maybe a cup without holes as a drip tray. Water.
Lid with holes (also a cup)
As mentioned above, cut off everything that is too big, maybe trim the tips of the leaves by 1/3.
Cut the lower end of the cutting at an angle for a larger surface area.
In the corner of the 18h tent in the shade of the other plants. Wait.
Clean tools and a bit of practice, and you’ll succeed with every cutting without hormones or expensive equipment. 
Nothing against anyone who does it differently, but it’s a natural process, the plant wants to survive.
The basic needs are enough:
Relative humidity: since plants absorb water through their leaves during this phase, without roots.
Temperature: often sufficient at the bottom of the tent, otherwise place in a moderately warm spot by a window that isn’t too sunny.
Moist soil without many nutrients: you should never drown them, as we all know all too well. Which medium you use doesn’t really matter in the end. Rockwool, Light mix, peat or coco Jiffy. They all serve the same purpose → keeping it moist and stimulating the cut site.
Same with air layering on the living plant (but that’s another topic)
What I mean to say is: it works, just patience and a bit of routine. That’s all it takes.
