Remote indoor grow

Hi fellow growers!
Here’s my problem: my indoor grow is located far from my home (lack of space in my apartment). So I’m only present with it once a month for a week to perform the various manipulations (topping, fimming, ScrOG, defoliation, …).

Can someone advise me on a calendar that takes my schedule into account?

I was thinking of going with:

Starting from the seedling (18/6 lighting)

—3 weeks—>
Day 1: topping or fimming + defoliation.
Day 2: ScrOG net setup.
Day 7: switch to 12/12 and bloom mode for lighting at 50cm from the plants. Special flowering nutrients.

—3 weeks—>
Day 1: lollipopping, inspection
Day 7: possibly harvest or wait until the next month.

—3 weeks—>
Day 1: harvest + drying

Am I on the right track or do you think I should do it differently?

Thanks for your replies

With those gaps in availability will be hard to do with synthetic nutrients unless you have someone to take care of that. My grow is hands off with an automatic watering system and a 55 gallon res. I also feed with dry organic ammendments which I apply about every 30 days.

Oops!

Indeed, I forgot to mention that I have an automatic irrigation system with a 100 L reservoir and that the solid fertilizer amendment is applied monthly.

Then you should be golden I think

Thank you very much

And for topping / fimming, is 3 weeks not too late? Won’t the plants be too tall?

You wony have to worry about them being too tall. lots of growers use topping not only as a yield boost but also use it for height managment so no worries on how tall she gets

It may be a little late or you could top it at a lower node. Also for reference I did a little thinking about your res. My 55 gallon during stretch will last 1.5 weeks up to 2 depending on strain. So you may need a larger one. I use a large trash can but they make ones larger than 55 gallons which may be a better option for you.

For the water reservoir, it essentially depends on the volume of the pots and their number.

Personally, I have 6 x 10L pots that receive 1L of water (with nutrients) every 3 days.

So with 80L, that allows me to last 1 month, so a 100L reservoir is normally enough to wait until I am present (I will be absent for 3 weeks).
