This is a Cream & Cheese photoperiod grown from seed. FoxFarm soil. Started in early October of 2022. I’ve made every rookie mistake there is. That’s water under the bridge and now I just want to know if I should cut my losses or let her grow some more. She started life indoors and then went outdoors when she was near death’s door (due to me putting the light too far away and then too close and a bunch of other stuff). She recovered nicely and perhaps even started to flower outside. I then (in retrospect foolishly) brought her back inside around the middle of January. She’s done okay, and as you can hopefullly see, she has some tiny buds on her, but they’ve never really gotten any bigger. I suspect that all the light and environment changes have confused her. She’s currently getting 11 hours of light. She had a sister that I brought back inside sooner and I did get some bigger buds out of her. Curiously, the sugar leaves also seemed quite smokeable. The reason for bringing them inside was someone convinced me that that they wouldn’t flower until October or so because our days (southern california) are currently getting longer and won’t start getting shorter until June. Thus the consensus was they were re-vegging and needed to be brought inside.
Should I cut my losses and try to harvest what I can, or is there someway to get her to put more growth effort into buds? I only have 1 light, so I could use the space. I want to give her every chance at life though ![]()
As an aside, I wonder if I’m hoping for too much when it comes to bud size. I’m a newbie so my experience consists of going to the dispensary where they have beautiful buds with no leaves on them for sale.
Thanks!
