Decarbing & infusing

Hi
First time grower and I’ve just harvested
I’m looking to make some edibles and want to infuse both butter and oil and I have a couple of questions.

  1. How do I know when the buds are ready to decarb. They’ve been curing for a week or so. Given they are going into the oven, can I do it now or should I wait a few more weeks ?

  2. How much weed should I add to the butter or oil for a ‘normal’ level? Ie what’s the ratio.

  1. Whenever, as long as they are dry they are good to go.
