Quick question for those of you who know the Jane app inside out!
I recently had to start over with a new batch of clones because the ones I originally purchased were of very poor quality. Since I was starting fresh, I decided to delete the old growlog.
However, something seems to have gone wrong.
My account overview still shows 2 growlogs, but when I open “My Growlogs”, only one appears, regardless of which filter I select (All, Public, Unlisted, or Private).
Even stranger, when I visit my public profile, both growlogs are still displayed. But when I try to open the one I deleted, I get the message:
“This Growlog is currently unavailable.”
So it seems the growlog itself has been deleted, but it’s still being counted and displayed on my public profile.
Does anyone know how to permanently remove this deleted growlog from my profile and get the growlog counter back to the correct number?
I’ve attached a few screenshots to illustrate the issue.
Thanks in advance for your help, and have a great weekend!
Where it says my grow logs that is a count of the total number of grows you have logged with the app regardless of why they were removed. Its more a counter of the grows started because even a failed run can teach you something and therefore counts overall.
Deleting it just removes it from the list of active logs
Even so, you should be able to delete them if you want, you might have created it by mistake, it’s an error, you have the option to mark plants as dead, so you can choose to mark it as dead if that’s what happened, when you hit delete it should be deleted.
Besides, I was actually thinking of “complaining” about this very thing, as well as because the first photo from when you created the Growlog stays saved, and there’s no way to change it; inside the app itself it appears changed, but the Growlogs page keeps showing the first photo you uploaded, and there’s no way to change it, I find it really ugly and annoying, it’s the presentation of the ENTIRE Growlog, you should be able to choose it and change it at any time.
And while we’re complaining… xD it would be good if the box on the right where a general description appears were reserved for post-harvest notes, a personal summary of what they thought of the grow, what they liked, what they didn’t, how much yield they got, the aroma, the flavor…
I mean, when I look at other people’s Growlogs, I would really like it if at the end, the grower left a clear summary of the entire “life of the plant”: flavor, smell, big or small buds, many/few trichomes… etc., I think that exact presentation section should be exclusively for that: entering the grow, reading the FINAL notes, and if I’m more interested, checking each day or week in detail.

Hi everyone, thanks for reporting this, and DutchGrower, thanks for the screenshots.
This was a bug on our side. When you deleted a plant, its growlog was removed from your garden but stayed on your public profile and in your growlog count. To clarify: the “My Growlogs” counter should only count the growlogs you still have. Deleted growlogs should not count.
Both issues from this thread are now fixed:
Deleted growlogs are now removed from your profile and from the counter right away.
On the website, the growlog cover is now the photo you picked in the app, instead of the first photo you uploaded.
The idea of a section with the grower’s final notes (yield, smell, taste, what worked and what didn’t) is a great suggestion. I’ve passed it on to the team, as it’s close to something we’re already working on.
Reports like this one help us a lot. Please keep sharing bugs and ideas here in the forum. Screenshots and steps to reproduce make them much faster to fix.
We’re also getting close to an open beta of the new Grow with Jane website. We’ll share the details here soon, and we’d love your feedback once it’s live.
It has been a great improvement! Now it really looks awesome, thanks @DutchGrower and @SkunkMaster.
As another suggestion, just in my opinion thinking about what I’d like to see… just like the AI summary, a box for, as I said before, a grower summary, and another one with a list of the products used like fertilizers and boosters, so that way we’d know if it’s mineral/organic or mixed, elicitors, hormones, so it could generate more interest and be seen, @herr_gruen for example uses plants as elicitors, like mint, chamomile, etc., I used aspirin, triacontanol, chitosan, etc.
I mean, having those things be the first thing you see when entering, so you’d directly get an overall picture
