I am currently using an extra bathroom to grow. I got it light proof, a heater and a humidifier to control the climate. Do I need a grow tent? Would I have better results if I had one?

@JustRaf hey man their are alot of benefits from using a grow tent . I found the only thing I struggle with is the heat mainly in the flower stage . Due to the fact I have to turn my light up. But then again I’m in a 3x3 and my light fits perfectly in with about a 2” clearance on all sides. Might of been better for a 4x4. I’m running co2 as well . I have 2 vivosun 4” fans pulling air from the top of my tent as well as a fan outside my window pulling air into my tent . They are all on the same vivosun controller so as air gets pulled in air gets pushed out . I like it because it only turns on for about 20 sec before it gets back to temp. People all have their tents sett up to their preferred grow. None are wrong . My personal opinion is a tent is worth it make sure you have an idea already in hand and do the research before you buy just any tent . Goodluck
If it’s unused and big enough for the number of plants you plan on growing I’d rather have the shower than a tent. Light proofed already, maybe add some ventilation/fans to move air and you’re all set . . . even got a drain in the floor for runoff and spills! As long as you’ve got a handle on your environment a tent will not give you better results, it’s just a quick easy way to give you basically what you’ve already built.
