Do volcano stones and sand influence my plant?

Hi, its my third grow. I like to experiment. I found the seeds in a 5g grip of Double Gelato. On my last trip to Lanzarote (April 23) i brought some stones and sands from volcano Timanfaya. So i named my plant Timanfaya!

Do u think that the volcano stones influence my plant in positive way or no way? (Sorry for my english)

Awesome! I also thought about it but haven’t done it. So it’s pretty cool to see someone doing it. But I will put my clones in Agra wool which is made from basalt fibers. Do you have a growlog I would love to see the progress with that setup. And no worries about your english skills! This community is international. I’m sure my english sucks as well… :v::sweat_smile:

Hi Darko!! That’s an amazing name for your girl!! I liked it very much.
About the stones, You can use them to aerate your substrate (instead of using perlite or vermiculite) or to facilitate drainage, by placing them at the bottom of the pot.

Have a happy growing!!

You don’t have to pay to share your Growlog. All you need to do is, to set your growlog to public and share the link. You can do that by going to “Discover” where you can see all the Growlogs. Than you click on “My Growlogs” in the upper right corner and set your Growlog to public. Now you go to your Growlog, click on share (also in the upper right corner), copy the link and put it in here. :v::slightly_smiling_face:
