Hii I’m new, do the leaves seem weird/unhealthy?
I know very little, don’t have much info except I’m growing it outdoors, maybe it’s a female?
This morning I gave her a bit of water from my coffee maker
The soil looks dry. It should be moist.
sir yessir admiral, so the leaves look normal?
No, they look heat stressed, maybe low humidity also? If you see the edges of your leaves turning or cupping upwards as yours are, you generally have heat issues. What are your temps/humidity looking like? Outdoors, so not a lamp issue . . . on a porch or patio beside the house? Any chance a wall or structure is reflecting heat onto the pot?
Old timer’s outdoor rule of thumb; sit with your plant during the hottest part of the day . . . if you’re too hot she likely is too.
As mentioned, the media looks dry, but I don’t know much about soil grows. I do think yours looks like fine dust/powder so I think it may need to be amended with perlite or something to help the roots breath. Maybe I’m wrong about that, just looks to me like it would be too tight.
temp about 20°C during the day, 4 or 5 at night; humidity a bit above 50%;
what can I do to ensure she receives light without stressing her?
