Doubt maintaining a mother plant

I’m kind of confused about the technique involved in perpetual growing cannabis.
Can i have one tent with a slow grow plant in a perpetual vegetative stage, 14/10-hour cycle on low wattage LED full spectrum and take cuttings from it without stressing the plant too much and cause it to change its sex? Meaning:

  1. Planting one seed on organic living soil on 3-part tent for flowering, vegetative and propagation
  2. Waiting until mother plant is healthy and strong
  3. Take cuttings to prevent growing
  4. Grow these cuttings until flowering and harvest on the “faster” part of the grow using Sea of Green
  5. Repeat steps 2 through 4.

The flowering part of the tent would be constantly on 12/12-hour cycle - strong LED; vegetative part constantly on 14/10-hour cycle - weak LED.

Almost exactly how i used to do it with one small change. I was running a 15/9 schedule because after growing outdoor for years ive seen flowering trigger at around the 14 hour mark on plelnty of strains and i don’t know how that would affect your clones because if you need to reveg them every time its not going to a faster way of growing.

One other thing I would suggest is keeping 2 mothers if you can fit them only so that you have a backup in case something goes wrong and replacing them with new clones occasionally, i had a couple herm after longer periods of maintaining them without letting them flower
