I have a single Killer Kush Auto that I have grown on my balcony. It will be ready to harvest in the next week or so but the temperature here in Alicante, Spain is around 28°c and humidity currently over 78 in the only drying space I have. I only have aircon in the lounge and bedroom and can’t really afford to spend a lot on additional equipment. I am starting to think that I might have to resort to a quick-dry method but only want to do that as a last resort. This is my first grow so would appreciate any advice from anyone who has experience of dealing with similar conditions. Thanks.
I usually dry in my bedroom since my AC is in there, is that an option for you?
Hi, you could try the lotus drying method. It seems a bit weird at first but I’ve tried it and it works great. You just need a bit more patience. It basically comes down to trimming your buds, putting them in pizza boxes and then they go in the fridge (7-8 degrees Celsius) for about two weeks. And you turn the buds ever day or every other day to make sure the dont become too flat.
I dry in warmer temps all of the time. I dry till the stems are close to snapping. Then I finish trimming them and put them in jars. I keep the lids loose and sometimes cracked a little for a couple of days. Then I’ll start burping normally for a week or so. Somehow I got this to work for me.
