The UVB I’ll start week three after the stretch for one hour a day. The UVA can run the entire light cycle. I have a UVC sanitation light I used to use for pest control. Some leaf curling would show up in 7-10 days but it never killed the plants or damaged the buds. It was on a 15 minute cycle. I might try it again just turning it on for one minute twice a week for stress. The T5 UVB this will be my first time. ChatGPT is helping me dial it in.

I think it smells much stronger now than a few days ago before I put the mint next to it. Actually, all four plants smell stronger, but with this one, it’s significantly more so.The other day I found two other spots where mint grows, this time not water mint, but I’m not yet sure exactly which kind it is. These are already flowering and should probably bear seeds soon. I think I will save some of them for future experiments and plant them in the garden.

The Green Gelato is a cross between a Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and a Sunset Sherbet. Also, I put an aquarium air pump inside the inoculum, and a transparent hose for gas extraction, and through condensation with the hose, I was able to separate distilled liquid. It seems to be a kind of distillate of alcohol and acids along with the 20 volatile sulfur compounds. Apparently, it has an EC of 0, but it maintains its properties. I achieved this by placing a heating mat under the inoculum bag, putting the aquarium air diffuser under the substrate, and connecting the hose at the top. When I saw condensation, I wondered what it was, and the AI told me it was distilled water with acids and volatile compounds with an EC of 0. I’m seriously thinking about using it for germination; it seems like distilled water.
Also, I’ve been reading a lot these days and learned interesting things. I read that DNA protection is much weaker during the transition to flowering. Day 1 of flowering and the first few days are key to trying to activate them, as that’s when the plant reprograms and decides how to flower based on the environment.

What definitely works 100% is triacontanol… it’s very strong, and the plants’ response is too. This is the second time I’ve used it sprayed on plants in the veg stage, and it gives them tremendous vigor.
When the effect wears off in a week and I can reapply, I’ll take before and after photos. This product is incredible, and for 7 dollars… it will last for years.
When you have time, you might want to check it out; it’s very related to what you’re doing. It’s all scientific; they mention things like communication through environmental odors to transmit danger, ask for help, attract insects, repel them. It talks about nettle, tomato, a small mention of cannabis and tomato for being especially sensitive, jasmonate, about the age of plants, how young ones don’t produce them and often die because of that when attacked. They also highlight important things, like how they can only do it during the day with photosynthesis, and that’s why certain insects only attack at night. So, as you can see, it provides interesting clues.

Well, 06/17 today I just put the 4 regular Afghan seeds I received to germinate, since it’s not good to use distilled water, I used chlorine-free tap water which has never given me problems. I added 0.20ml of the distilled inoculum water, which should contain butyric, isovaleric, and acetic acids, plus the 20VSCs which are the volatile compounds 321-MBT, methanethiol, dimethyl sulfide, furanethiols.
In addition to ethanol and ethyl acetate as alcohols.
It really smells like farts lol, it’s only 5ml, and it looks like distilled water; in fact, it comes out of that process through the hose where the air comes out.
This way, it will hydrate from the start with a small part of these molecules from second 1.
In about 3 days, if they germinate… I will transplant them into 1L pots with normal substrate.

I have all sorts of companion plants. Marigolds, St. John’s wort, Red clover, Nasturtiums, and even more garden buddies. At some point, I got the Defender, Nutrient, and Scarepack seed mixes from Zamnesia.
At the beginning of the season, I simply threw some seeds into the bed, and this is the result now.
Every year, I also throw a handful of forest soil into my raised beds.
