I have been trying to harden off my plants, and today is their first night out. I don’t know if is the environment change or it may be a nutrient toxicity. I flushed them today just in case. Any ideas and suggestions? Any bite marks were from a previous cricket issue.
I’m pretty sure now it is a nitrogen toxicity or just nutrients in general. I will reduce the amount of nutrients going forward. How long should i flush with just water and is there anything else I can do?
Hi @Missa, I think they look very well and what your suggestion is looking to me what it is, k lacking Nitrogen, cash up with that , I think after that you will be back on track, happy growing
It’s looking like a bit of nitrogen toxicity and possibly the start of a phosphorus deficiency. I like to use this chart to help me diagnose problems with leaves
@SoulOurGarden Yes, I was looking at this chart and similar ones last night. I found an article which almost perfectly describes what I am seeing. Dark shiny looking leaves with some curling down at the ends. It said it was a nitrogen toxicity. So I was thinking I will just give them water only for a few days and then cut back to 3/4 of the nutrients I was using after that.
Sounds like a perfect plan! Happy growing👏🏻
