Upgrading my tent went from a 2 x 2 from AC affinity to a 3 x 3 free Temu tent but using all my AC Infiniti equipment, in-line fan AC infinity remote AC affinity hundred watt light and AC affinity oscillating fan. Should I upgrade my light?
The 100w i believe covers 2x2 in veg and 1.5x1.5 in flower and not a bad brand if anything id just grab 1 more if able to and itll cover the whole footprint come flowering phases… but Totally up to you and depends how many plants your trying to grow at once. If doing 2 or 3 plants about 200w should do for decent yields but can always pull more with better wattage ratio per plant. And could always check out a 3x3 light but me personally i think ya got a really good light and probably cheaper to just add 1 more rather than replacing what ya have
Also welcome back to the community its always a pleasure to see returning faces. Hope this year is going well for you and happy growing
Are you growing one plant? 100watts is fine. But, if you are looking to grow another plant or plants in the new 3x3 you’ll need another light. Most say 100 watts per plant minimum. But honestly i think 125 watts per is the minimum.
If you are comfortable with temu, check out Alibaba. Kingsbrite is such a nice light. All the lights are made in China, with a few exceptions. My spider farmer light was made in China and had a different company’s name on the sticker attached to the light. That’s when I was like fuck the middle man. The factory that I buy my clip fans from says they also do AC infinity and make them bulky on purpose because Americans like big bulky bullshit.
Which one do you think is made for Americans. They have practically the same parts made by the same company in China. I can link you to the company. No one even sells the streamline fan in the USA.
In a 3x3 you want around 300-350 watts to get the full potential of your plants. I have 2x4 tents and run 400-450 watts in them.
What’s up demon! How have your grows been going?
They were going good til I had to chop them early. Made me sick to my stomach to chop all 6 of my plants. I just got started again after a month off. I decided to give autos a try again since I’ve gotten much better than I was when I grew my last auto. This is a Cherry Kush auto at 4 weeks from popping.
How about your plants? I see you help a ton of people. Bc I don’t post a lot or post pics often some people don’t want to listen to me. Oh well, their loss. By no means do I know everything but everything I’ve learned has been self-taught from experience. Have a good day!
Dude I’d probably throw my whole setup out if I had to toss 6 flowering plants! Holy shit that sucks. Glad to see you’re right back at it tho, I’ll probably run an auto my next round too. Smokey sent me some ethos autos that caught my eye
I always thought you gave great and knowledgeable advice man. I’m still a rookie compared to the shit you’re guiding people with. I just try to be as helpful as possible while leaving the more complex shit to you guys lol. But I’m currently running two Bigfoot glue photos and it’s going well! Trying mainlining for the first time too so excited to see how this grow goes
Thank you for the compliment. I don’t get those often. I consider myself somewhat of a newbie also. I’ve been at it for about 5-6 years so not a ton of time compared to others. Once I went organic everything changed for me. I finally have plants I can be proud of. When someone likes your smoke as much if not more than what they purchase is a good feeling. Have a good one!
Updates Week 8 upgrades 3x3x7 320 watt 6 bar light and upgraded the 4 to 6 inch inline fan Ac infinity auto pots and Soil Monitors
What did you do with the 2x2? Any plans on using it in the future? Ive thought about getting a 3x3 myself. I want to fill one with a plant, a 2x4 is an odd shape for a single plant.
using my 2x2 for hang drying for 10 days also got clones ready for the 2x2 after drying
Thats a good idea. Ive thought about turning my one tent on its side and using it for clones and/or seedlings.
