Hey, how can you expect your plant to react after fimming? Stesswise…
Auto…slows it down 4-7 days in my experience .
Photos…I’ve never seen a difference.
Just my 2 cents.

My opinion and no pro, but fimming will stress the plant, not as much as topping but will stress all the same, it’s like you getting a cut on your finger, couple days and it’s better healing so think of any stress exactly that, might not be much but has to have some side effect,!
