Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. So I’ve started growing my first plant and so far everything is going well. It’s an unknown strain from some seeds I found, I’ve been growing it outdoors in some soil in a pot, about two weeks ago I began giving it nutrients (grow girls grow) every second day. Other then what I’ve just mentioned it is all natural, I haven’t trimmed, supported or done anything special as of yet.
I believe my plat has just gone into it’s flowing stage and I would just like some advice or tips as to what I can do to help produce nice big healthy buds. I’m going to order some new nutrients (bloom baby bloom) to help the flowering stage. But if anyone could share some wisdom that would be greatly appreciated. I’ll include some photos so you cam see what I’m working with.
@Horey94 I would go easy on the nutrients if you’re in the flowering stage, especially Nitrogen. I’m at week 4 of flowering and have stopped giving nutrients. Last week (week 3), I made Banana tea (homemade fertilizer) to boost the K (potassium) to help fatten my buds.
Week 2 flower :
Have a look at training methods to get that canopy evenly spread & Same top height… Lay off the nutrients in bloom. Don’t feed every 2nd day with amendments… I normally do a Top feed of Worm Castings, Bounce Back & Bone Meal at the beginning of flower coupled with LST and proper defoliation… After that I leave the girls to focus on producing buds…
She is definitely shinning, do you have a magnifying glass or loupe to see the trichomes up close?
Here’s an article where you can get information on how to harvest, if you can upload photos with a magnifying glass we can help you with it.
