@Deanroche I had an auto I thought was a photo and I topped her several times. She turned out to be one of my best plants. I’ve been rethinking the whole “don’t top autos” thing after that. She flowered right at 6 weeks and has some beautiful buds.

What’s causing the leaves to spike up?
I’m no pro but I think it could be heat stress! And I just turned the lights on so really Iv been seen this regularly

I’ve had mixed results topping autos, some have responded really well and I had others get stunted and fall a week or two behind non-topped plants. Which with autos can be a problem. last one I did refused to finish( no amber trichs and kept pushing out white hairs) so I let her keep going and she turned hermie on me.

Cheers for your input @PB65 , all take deferently to topping and Iv never with autos but wanted to try and now ill keep an 
on the trics make sure there doing there job.

So just a question, do you advise topping autos?
And at what time you think is best, mine just has 4 nodes still she is small…

Hey @Pi1 at the right stage now if you do want to top autos, Iv topped the best and healthiest of mine but I don’t advise unless you’ve some experience buy then we all got to start somewhere.
So ya top her now and you will see the difference. I’ll take a pic of mine in a while and post it OK but all the rest of mine I didn’t, I just LST D them

You start bending, at what stage of the pant, node wise.?

I normally start as soon as possible, but I wait for it to reach 4 nodes, then I ankor and pinch& bend till I’m happy light is reaching all sites, then I tie that down, iv two northern lights autos at 24 days old.
I’ll post in a bit later now it’s not letting me🤒think the app is not feeling well.

I was told it was a white widow it was a clone that has been very slow at growing i feel first time grower tho ive had her planted since August think i should switch to 12-12 with lights now or stay at 18 on 6 off thanks for any feed back
