First timer

Hey guys, so I’m new to growing and I was given a few seeds to try and grow them. I started super late and got one to grow. I’ve had it for about 2 months now and the plant looks great. It sits in full sun all day long. I’m in the north east and was wondering how much longer I can leave it outside before it has to come in. If I don’t get any flowers with it, I’m ok with it, but would love to see it through. Thoughts on next steps? I do have grow lights and location indoors that would provide proper temp, humidity, etc. Experimenting with this plant in an effort to learn more for next year.

Welcome to the community @DiegoVerde .

:radio_button: Just my opinion. Trying to help a fellow Grower out

I’d definitely start with a Top, & then LST ( pulling her Top slightly down, "Let the bottom branches shoot up to get that Canopy Level with the Main Top

I’d also definitely “Lollipop” the bottom 3-4 branches ( You’ll be left with 3 Nodes & a Top. This will give those other colas to come up.

Good Luck Buddy

If you transplant it to a bigger pot it will take off like crazy

That Too Yes!

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. I have made some adjustments. Ideally, what size container should the lady be in?

Well, it depends on the “Location” and Available Space… If you want to keep it on the down-low - I’d say 1 or 2 Sizes bigger. Transplanting before flipping to 12/12 will be advantageous hence the roots will have ample space…

If you’re not concerned about that, I’ll definitely Transplant in a 100L pot… (Only do a 100L if flowering stage has not yet begun…

Are you in the Northern Hemisphere @DiegoVerde

Yeah, I’m in northeast US… time outside is already limited and will definitely be coming indoors. Its in about a gallon container already and likely will go to a 5 gallon bucket

How many Litres is a 5 gallon drum?

18.925 liters

A 5 gallon bucket contains 18.925 liters.

100 x 0.22702 = 21.99692 gallons - In my opinion
