General question

Fixing to make a veg area(under counter) it’ll be enclosed for the purpose of starting seedlings and handling the veg state. My curiosity is this, would a person be better off using a gloss white paint, chrome paint or white plastic? I have my ideas, but thought id ask others for their opinions

I’m not sure but I’d imagine you’d want whatever’s most reflective and water resistant

i did my grow room in a flat white as i was under the impression it reflects better than a gloss after doing some google searches and it seems to reflect pretty well. now google could of gotten my stoned ass since i haven’t looked into it further since that day but look into flat white if ya havent already

i believe gloss white can potentially create hot spots where as flat distrubutes light more evenly is what i read im pretty sure and decided on flat and i dont believe you lose much reflection % compared to a gloss white

Awesome guys, ty for the responses. Im fixing to get the perpetual grow going as ive gotten the automated watering down, running the marshydro FC-E4800 full spectrum. Ive been focused on both photos and autos but want to kick the photos into full time for a bit. The autos are nice to run just to have a harvest while growing. Id share pics of my white widow I recently harvested but im not able to upload photos on the app. Anyways, thanks again. I’ll be putting my under counter veg space renovation into motion tomorrow. Happy growing everyone

White paint definitely reflects light best.

At add photos you need to open a post or answer, on my version there is a box down in the bottom right hand corner. Click on it and it should open to 3 choices, Photo library, Take photo or video, or choose files. Hope this helps.

Very good choice for the matte white

I went with the matte white. My little area i built is large enough to veg a plant 2x2x2.5. Nice size before repotting and moving to my flower tent for canopy training

Have you ever, or know anyone that has used FOOP Nutes? Any idea if they are as good as Gaia Green?
