Genetics or impatients lol

Hello all!

Im now in 88 days over all, 7 weeks in flower, despite what i think is oxidation from running ozone in the airline the plant has progressed well. I can see some foxtailing happening which again i think was my fault earlier in the grow i had my light to high/close. Now the puzzle im facing is these tricomes, they are all over the map! Some are milky, some are clear and few are amber, but its going 3 weeks now and i camtbsay ive seen much of a change! IM SO EAGER TO CHOP! But i was impatient last grow and ended up with some really horrible tasting bud(usable) but nasty! I just dont kniw what todo, chop or not!

Can you get picks of the trichomes. Take a look, and if a majority of the heads of the trichomes look like they are about to detach from the bottom harvest. Also do not look at the trics on the leaves.

I see a bunch of clear and some cloudy. Judging by the pic I would say you are close. Some Sativa’s never turn. It has happened to me. I also flushed too early.

Is that the closest you can get to the trics? Are you using your phone or a USB mini microscope?

Is this on the foxtail because that is going to look immature.

That’s a pretty good shot, by the way.

I have a bowl trimmer. It will definitely take off most of the foxtailing. On the upside it makes the rein better. I use all my trim for butter and rso. If you don’t want to use your trim I’d suggest hand trimming.

I do this all the time. I leave it out for 3 or 4 days on a drying rack then test it. Best way to tell when it’s ready.

Today i started a flush, i know i know, its a hot topic, i didnt flush last plant and wanna try on this one. Only gonna do for a few days and then its chop time!

I have begun doing this as well. As soon as half the pistols are red and the trics are mostly cloudy, I fill the reservoir with water.

One thing I have noticed is after I dry the plant and smoke some, it’s not as harsh and has white ash.
