Is it ok to use plastic jars for curing?
Food grade plastic containers are fine. Regular plastic can leach into the flower leaving a smell/taste and probably other toxic junk.
HDPE - is what you want, canβt remember the acronym
I have glass now but I used an old plastic 2L water bottle in the past that was labelled food grade without issue

Yup I agree Iβve always heard to use glass or HDPE plastic only, any other plastics will give the flowers a harshness and taste like the smell of burning plastics. I myself only use glass mason jars, Iβve had the same ones for like 5 years lol

I use plastic ice cream containers. Food grade, easy to maintain and cheap. I donβt know how well they are for long term storage.
