Hey Everyone , got a dilemma. I’ve got two girls in my 2x4 at about a month in veg, both from seed and both are in the same living soil mix that I’ve used many times with amazing success. My tap water is 8.4 ph after being filtered which just out of abundance of caution I ph down to 6.2. I only use organic inputs and periodic top dressings as well. I do use stash blend and recharge occasionally as well. With that all being said, one of the girls is looking like she’s shaping up to be a beast, the other not so much. The one first started with rust spots and slower growth, which I suspected a fluke PH increase but the soil was actually pretty spot on. Now it’s looking like it’s also has nitrogen deficiency as well with half the growth of the other. Weird, and the only thing I can think of was that the transplant had a hiccup when the soil fell apart a bit and roots may have had a small amount of trauma BUT that was a month ago. Any ideas?
Can you post pics
This happens to me quite often. I’m actually dealing with it again on this grow. One plants a beast and the other just average. For me, I just blame genetics and accept the fact that I’ll never have twin plants. My harvest window is always off by about a week too. Same soil, conditions, etc
I guess what’s bothering me is that it looks like deficiencies or PH yet they are both spot on. I had my EVO3 on level 4 with a par of 400ish. I lowered it to 30% temporarily to see if the issue could be too high light intensity for this cultivar.
Hello and welcome back also sorry to hear ya might be having issues I know you said ph is pretty spot on and ya feed organically (I also do or try to lol) and based off the Pic if you look at your leafs center vein how that has the yellowing occurring but rest of plant leaf is green or mostly from my experience it’s normally a ph imbalance which you checked so all good or it’s an iron deficiency and are you using a calmag with iron or possibly something organic with enough iron minerals ? She may just be lacking calmag/iron and just eating it up at a faster rate
I’m no expert neither so I totally could be wrong but have dealt with that issue myself a few times and calmag is the only liquid is use so I changed to one with iron+ and honestly I think it helps me in flowering
