Grow room air circulation

i built a grow box in my room. i have ventilation pipe going out the window. 2 fans for circulation (in room not growbox). with passive air holes near the bottom of the box. is this setup ideal?

First, let me say I’m no expert. To me this setup is not ideal. I would want to create a bit of movement inside the box. It is probably true that with the air holes you have a miniscule amount of air flow but I would say it’s not enough. You could get a clip fan and set it up near one of the holes. Whether it is bringing air into the hole or out, doing so will either bring fresh air into the other holes (if the fan is blowing air out of the hole it’s near) or, if the fan is sucking air into the hole it’s close to, the air in the box will be exhausted through the other holes. I don’t know if that makes sense or not. A fan inside the box will not only provide your plant with fresh air but it will help strengthen the plant so it can hold up all those glorious buds it’s going to supply you and assist in pest control. Enjoy your grow.

Hey Mr @jimbogrow

Would it be possible to upload some pics of the setup you built? What size is the box & what light are you using?
Its imperative to circulate Co2 fresh air inside your box… Otherwise the Co2 will get depleted in your box & your plants wont grow as they should…

1.If your room temperature is moderate with air-conditioning, then cool… If not, ill definitely be looking to fan/intake fresh air from the bottom of your box. Whiles exhausting the hot air out the top…

Its really difficult to give you concrete advice as I don’t exactly know how your setup runs…

You should consider getting at least 1 Oscillating Fan in your box, to move the air between the stems… If there’s no air movement between the stems the Plant wont be able to uptake water ( & You’re Amendments )

If else fail, try to open youre box as long as possible during good sunny weather!!
