Harvest outdoors

i was going to harvest Yesterday but didn’t I have two rain days ,today and tomorrow which stumped me , plant is showing alot of yellow, trichomes are milky should I wait the 2 days of rain , i figured with the plant as yellow as it is.I have potential of root rot 4 a 2 days of rain fall ahead. Should I harvest wet or hold off

I believe with the hairs being somewhat white.Still, I may have a little time to be able to wait. This is my first year growing

Hello Tone and welcome

I still see many white pistils on the buds. It’s clear your trichomes are already milky, however most prefer it when about 20-30% of them are amber in color. Most plants also need one to two weeks longer in flower to ripen than what breeders indicate. I would let them stand so they can ripen further. Perhaps you have the option to attach an umbrella over them or a tarp / sheet to protect them from the rain.

I agree with @herr_gruen also make sure you are looking at the trichomes on the bud itself not the sugar leaves. I recommend looking at the area where the hairs come out. Also I don’t check trichomes until I get all my hairs turning brow/orange.
