Has anyone use the herbs now dryer for drying bud. If so any pros and cons that you would like to share I’m really thinking of trying one out. I cannot get my room temp and humidity to stay consistent over a day’s time whether humidifier and a fan pulling air out and also pumping cold air into the tent from my air conditioner. I really just want a consistent dry I can’t babysit it 24/7 so I’m trying to think of the best solution.
I’ve heard good and bad things about that dryer. What temps and RH can you get in your room?
Ideally you want to aim for 60F and 60% for about 2 weeks. But there’s a bunch of ways, from cardboard boxes to $2k purpose built machines. Just depends what is right for your situation.

That’s day 1 I’m going to try some things to help out right now I’m using a vent to pump air from my ac in the the dry to keep the temps which are ok 70 the hottest all day and a 60 mid average but my humidity is all over the place I have a controller and a humidifier and it keeps up for about 8hr bit when the heat is the day comes all hell breaks loose. I’m just wondering if there was something else that might work better than hanging dry myself.
You might want to look into charcoal bags they will help with not only humidity but the smell to…if your worried about it.
You can also get cedar shavings and put them in the bottom that helps as well plus bugs don’t like it.
They both do the same thing just depends on which one you prefer.

You defo need to keep the temps under 70 and the RH over 50 or you will lose a lot of terps and flavour.
Not sure what the best solution is for your situation but AC is a good start, maybe get a humidifier that stays on more than 8hrs?
Actually have both I’m the same and room it’s not that easy to control the environment had a swing at a certain time when the temp heats the trim even with a and dehumidifier and humidifier in the tent but average of the day is good just got up to 70 lows during the early part of day is the problem. I might just have to deal with that 8-hour swing or try the urge now dryer I’m debating on it I’ll talk to a few people on yesterday they’ve had good experiences with it maybe worth a shot I may do a side by side if I do I will post it here.

If you can’t find a decent solution then you might like to try putting a few buds in a paper bag in the fridge (called a lotus dry/cure).
It takes a while but the cold temps ensure you don’t lose any terps and get the best result.
Then, you will have a side-by-side to compare with your other bud. You will be able to tell the difference and see how much you lost from an imperfect drying environment.

Okay I’m going to try my room it’s really only off temperature about 6:00 to 8 hours a day The rest of the day is pretty much perfect with my controller controlling the fan humidity and I’m pumping air into the tent The only variable is the 8 hours where the room temp rises and you really can’t do anything about it. The temp is only getting to 71 50rh for a few hours so I’m not that concerned. Just want some options. The dehumidifier and all this stuff going on it just naturally rises but that may not make very much difference I think I’m going to buy the herbs now dryer and do a side-by-side comparison when I pull my first plant here in a week or so so I will post the results differently. I hope it actually works so I can give someone an honest opinion I know people have gave me theirs and I believe them but I still like to see it for myself and if you don’t have a dedicated space it would be a great tool
