Harvest Ready?

Been Thinkin About Harvesting; Would It Be Okaii W/o Checking Tricomes With Jewelers Loupe ? I Prefer A Heady-er High. Lmk? First Time Grower

Edited W; Pics

I Just Planted The Seed In The Ground From Some Smoke I Had (Starberry Blue Or Cough ,Not Sure) && Didnt Expect Much From It. Im Was More Interested In How It Would Grow If I Dont Mess With It && Let Nature Do All The Work. The Was Just A Real Good Learning Experience. Ive Learned So Much.

Update With New Pic From Today ;(10-13-22)

Welcome @MrGreen710 happy growing! It is possible to harvest without a jewelers loupe but you can’t guarantee the trichomes are where you want them to be in terms of maturity and the type of high you’re seeking. To achieve your desired result you need to check the trichomes.

I see a lot of white hairs still in there, also.

Most growers will wait until all the hairs turn colour AND the trichomes have all turned milky…with some turning amber…say 10% or more.

Magnifying glass or loupe is the best. Even if you can get a good zoom on your phone camera.

Thanks; I’ll Have To Wait A Lil , Im Planning On Giving It a Week Or So More (Its In Week 6-7 i Think) . The Fall Rain Is Supposed To Pick Up && Its Lookin Like Heavy Rain The Next Couple Of Days.

Good luck with the rain. I know what that is like.

Thanks; Tbh It Hasnt Been That Bad In Terms Of Wetness but Ive Been Pretty Happy About Letting It Grow As Much As The Weather Permits . Here Are Some Pics I Took Today , I Can Kinda See White “Cloudy” Tricomes But No Amber. Still Havent Bought A Jewelers Loupe.

U won’t know if it’s ready if u don’t check the trichomes
