Hey @topsykret31 I use my grow tent for drying with the lights off RH around 55-60% and temps roughly 20°C I only grow auto’s and have dried them by cutting the plant at its base and drying it as a whole plant hung upside down and also cutting individual stems around 12" long and hanging those separately both after wet trimming! You’re aiming for 7-12 days until they feel dry on the outside but still a little spongy inside…
You need to follow some basics but the way in which you dry is personal choice and drying space! I’m sure some of the more experienced guys could give some more indepth advice but in the meantime you can Google the basics
Thank you so much for the help the basics very help too…. Plus it’s all new so any advice is expert to me. All advice is welcome I need it…lol. I will definitely Google & research.
Hey have any of your autos every loss orange hairs before?
Nah I’ve never had that @topsykret31 but I’ve just had a little read online and from what I can gather it can be stress related… so like increase in temps etc so unless it carries on doing it I wouldn’t worry too much just keep an eye on them
How close to harvest are u
Hey guy’s. I need a little advice I can’t use my main grow tent to dry at the moment because not all my plants are done so I’m using my 2x2 but, my only available room i use fir growing is the basement. I can’t get my tent below 70% humidity with a fan and air purifier. I’m guessing my only option is to get a dehumidifier? I onky have one filter fan and thats on the main tent. It’s been maybe four or five days and still smells like fresh cut grass and I just want to make sure that the drying process goes correctly and I don’t end up with mildew moldy smelling weed.
Hello Eightball!
It seems like a good idea, but be careful, do not put it near the plants because sometimes it interferes with the aroma of the girls.
