This is my first time ever growing. I don’t know anything about what I’m doing! Idk about the strain either. I’m trying to sex my plants before it’s too late and i get seeds everywhere. These little things look like curled up leaves (yes in the shape of a ball) but not like a closed pod. Is been a little over 10 weeks and they are barely starting to show signs of sex. I have them on an 18L 6D schedule. They were much fuller but i got rid of all fan leaves because hardly any light was able to shine through to the rest of the plant. Any help would be appreciated!
@Kuma649 Thanks! The plants are starting to get really big so I was scared to kill them if I wasn’t sure on sex. I’ll hold off a little longer. How long after showing do you have to get rid of males to avoid pollination? Sorry for all the questions, I’m just getting a little impatient because I thought gender would have been ovbious by now with them being 10 weeks into veg. My for sure females that I dont have pictured barely showed their “hairs.” I dont want to switch to flowering until I know what everything is.
If they are 10 week’s in veg they should show signs if there a female plant in veg i think my pic is around 8 weeks since seeds popped from soil in veg…Get rid of the males asap
I agree, can’t quite tell yet. Should be able to tell for sure in a few more days. Males with open the pollen sacs in roughly 10-16 days from my experience sometimes a little more but make sure you never push it that far. First 100% sign of males take em out and burn them to ashes.
