Help - Week 9 - Autoflower Fox-tailing?

Growlog link: Bruce Banner #3 - Autoflower

Hey guys, it seems my autoflower is Foxtailing… I see a ton of new hairs and buds growing on the buds. It is very hard to see in the pictures.

I believe this is caused by high temperatures, but the environment never got hotter than 26/27 degrees Celsius. I have been keeping the lights further away and keeping the temperature at 24.

It should be about 1 week away from being done or done by now, so I am just not sure when to harvest now… any input??

Okay I found more info. My main question is “When to harvest” now that I have new growth so close to harvest.

I found this:
When to harvest foxtailing cannabis buds?
Judge the harvest point as you normally would. Most look for the point when their trichomes are mostly cloudy and take the crop down at that point.

I also found an article that explains Good and Bad foxtailing, and my situation seems to be okay/good.

The Two Types of Foxtailing

(Good vs Bad)

Before we go any further, I have to admit that designating one type of foxtailing ‘good’ is a bit misleading. I call it ‘good’ in that it doesn’t provide any positive or negative benefits; ‘good’ foxtailing looks a bit funky but ultimately, it’s purely a cosmetic issue. However, ‘bad foxtailing’ really is a bad thing and comes with consequences…

Being able to tell if the foxtailing you’re experiencing is good or bad is as simple as being able to tell the difference between two foxtailing pictures. Here are two more examples side-by-side:

Hey man
1st, they look awesome and pretty much ready. 2nd, Your new pistils doesn’t look like foxtailing to me, but the last efforts of the female to reproduce. I would judge by the overall color of your buds, regardless to the new hairs.
Good luck, looks milky enough
