Welcome to Growithjane. You can keep your plants lower via mainlining and actually increase yield. It will take longer to veg them and use more floor space, but get more tops. Some folks integrate Scrog and mainlining together.

Welcome to the community @falang! Outdoorman gave some solid advise and you can definitely get a good yield with short plants that way!

Welcome to the team @falang hope all goes well with your grow! I’m gonna try Low Stress Training on my 2nd grow cos I’m also limited with head space in my 60x60x140 tent, I’ll be growing with auto’s though which I know work well with LST… not so sure about photoperiod you’d have to ask one of the other guys!

Looks pretty easy and actually seems like you could have some fun manipulating your plant into interesting shapes, a bit like bonsai but the finished product gives a very low and even canopy which is great for yield… ENJOY

Low stress training is a good way to keep them on the short side.

I read about mainlining it’s basically topping the plant but topping 3 are more times plus I’ve read that if I put the stativa straight into flowing 12/12 it will keep it short as they stretch still in flowering then decrease the light to 11 / 13 dark it will shorten the time a little as well
