Wondering what people do in the last two weeks to get final swell?
I have stopped feeding and am considering holding back water and or taking the bottom foliage. Too much?
Generally the last two weeks of flowering you want to “flush” the plant. I am not sure how this would be done outside and in the ground. You could still give it water without nutes so the plant uses up the remains of the goodness in the leaves.
Plant looks awesome
Cheers. I’ve grown this organically , so need to flush? (it is in a pot
).
She has had mites, caterpillars, extended extreme heat and gale force winds….I’ve been lucky.
Just wanting to finish it as best I can. It’s been a great ride!
Actually, I needed to see for myself if it mattered and come to find out it does. Check out what I found!
Cheers
Thanks for that! So flush then drought? I’m after a way to safely stress the plant to make it put in the extra effort to survive (which this plant seems to be rather proficient at).
By flushing you force the plant to use up all the remaining nutrients it has left in it. This brings the plant into the final home stretch of making it a clean pure smokable product as well as squeezing the last bit of everything you put into it.
I’d say do some research on flushing and see how it relates to you and your grow. You may find that not everything applies based on your growing methods.
Happy Harvest! 😶🌫️
